If you're the type of person looking for a motel with excellent wifi and a comfortable bed and a nice TV and whatnot, then you've come to the wrong place. Motel 6, while decent enough and does have WiFi and decent enough TV's and beds, don't expect great wifi. If you're super lucky and you're near a router or something like it then the wifi will work great for you. But if you're quite far from a router then you're barely getting any wifi signal at all. My partner was in room 157 on the bottom floor on the inside of the complex closest to the parking lot, and the wifi was absolutely garbage. She also had issues with the toilet as it at times needed multiple flushes to get everything down properly. Also don't expect the world's greatest shower. The stream pressure is really bad. Maybe it's the room she was in and maybe other rooms aren't so bad, but her room 157 had terrible toilet flushing issues and a bad Cox cable box. So she was put into room a few doors down and that room had better flushing and wifi signal for her needs. The Motel 6 isn't a horrible place to stay for a bit of time. The rooms themselves were clean and no real major issues besides the toilet and wifi issues. It's a decent place to stay if you need to save money. The location is excellent because it's right off a highway. And dogs are always allowed as long as they aren't causing too many issues. You can have up to 2 dogs in your room. Big or small. Anyways the overall experience of my partner's stay wasn't too horrible despite some issues. There was a microwave and a working mini fridge and those worked just fine. Anyways the Motel 6 is good for what it is. But if you're hoping for a good place for amazing wifi and great showers and whatnot, then go somewhere else. These are just my thoughts.
Oh and there is laundry machines and as of 10-24-2022, the washers and dryers are all $2.50 each. Anywhere else there 5 to 6 dollars or 7 dollars. And there's an ice machine and a couple of vending machines that have either soda/water/sports drinks or snacks. Soda is $3.00 or lower depending on what you get and snacks are $1.50 to 2.00.
The motel 6 is worth staying for a bit but I wouldn't suggest it for long term as there's better options out there for...
Read moreThese rooms were the smallest I have ever seen...EVER. they were roughly the size of a linen closet and the management has no bedside manner AKA rotten customer service. Their rates are the same as any other Motel 6 however like I said the rooms are probably half the size yet they still charge the same. We were planning to stay long-term and pay weekly but the second night we were there we experienced a power outage. There was four of us staying in the room and we had two beds in the linen closet I mean the room. It was around 2 or 3 in the morning and when we went to the front desk to ask if we could have a different room. He first declined but upon us being persistent he reluctantly agreed. Now mind you the power was off and our room and only a few others it wasn't the entire Hotel it was only a few rooms that were affected for some unknown reason. The room he switched us to had only one bed so my husband and I had to sleep in the car while my daughter and son-in-law stayed in the room. So the next morning at 7 a.m. the fire alarms went off. Now if you've never heard a hotel fire alarm let me tell you it is the loudest thing ever there's two different types of high pitched sirens and a bright white flashing light to go along with it. We all had to evacuate the building now mind you this is after the power outage just a few hours earlier. So at noon time when it was check out, I wanted to the office to pay for the next week but before I did so for a small discount $15 or $20 due to what happened the night before. The manager told me that he doesn't want my kind and he put me on a do not rent list because I very simply very kindly asked for a small refund or discount however he wanted to put it and I only asked one time it's not like I went in there throwing my fists around screaming yelling for an hour...no I asked in a calm voice, with a...
Read moreIn terms of looks this place is not very pleasing to the eye and isn't very well kept. The toilets seem to have issues, the one in the room we stayed in you have to hold down on the handle for over a minute in order to get it to flush, and from the windows I saw that many of them were dirty and clogged. In terms of insects there are less than I'd expect based on the look of the place however that doesn't mean I haven't had my fair share of spider killing. The refrigerator and freezer are both of adequate size and the TV is large. Very close to shopping and Starbucks and the room is of adequate size. Pet friendly ish, however they complain about accidents your dog may have as though you just ripped up their mattress and they don't like you walking the dogs on the property. If the manager (also the owner) doesn't like you he will make up policies to get you out and tends to lie about alot, not to mention sexually harasses female guests he finds to be pretty (continuous flirting, mentioning how he has a nice room she can stay in with him if they aren't satisfied with the one they're with ect). The houskeepers pretend to not know any english when you have heard them speak english to eachother before and don't like to come in and clean the rooms. There are millions of bugs everywhere, the bathtubs look like someone decided to jump into a mud pit then rinse in the tub because of how rarely the houskeepers clean them (not to mention when they do try to clean it they have no idea what they're doing). The rooms are eyesores and the beds are very uncomfortable. Many of the guests are either mentally disturbed or drug addicts. The only thing this has going for it is that there's a roof and you can store food. I do not suggest this to anyone...
