We used to visit this location weekly as a healthy dinner option. We live around the corner. One of our favorite ingredients is the mixed veggies in place of protein or with it. This location NEVER has them. We stopped visiting often because they are always “sold out” of them. Not one time in all of 2024 were we able to get them. We tried different days and times. Not ONCE did they have them for dinner. I guess if you’re a vegetarian you’re out of luck at dinner. My husband finally agreed last night to see if maybe they would have them now in the new year and to try the smoked brisket. Nope. STILL NO VEGGIES. I asked them to make more and they said they were sold out. Which is the answer every single time we go. Well here’s an idea… order more??? How do you offer a vegetarian option and not have them on a Friday night at 5:30?? Or at 6 or 7 pm. One of the busiest nights for going out. In fact every single protein option besides chicken was out of stock. If you looked into the pans they were all empty. At 5:30. On a Friday…. 8 employees standing around and no one cared. I almost walked out. They managed to have some steak almost ready so I waited. Come to find out they gave me a super tiny portion of steak and then loaded the top of my salad with sour cream and cheese to hide it. And since when do you not make a salad starting with lettuce? They put a few spinach leaves on the bottom of mine and I was supposed to add lettuce in the top. Isn’t that a bowl? A salad starts with the lettuce… Or at least it used to. I don’t know what you are doing in this location but it has gone downhill. Now we go to your competitor Moes. At least they have options and are always cooking more until they close. They’ve never once told me veggies were sold out. I got charged $25 for two meals that were missing what I really wanted. My husband told me last night, don’t ask me to go ever again. I am tired of being disappointed and angry. I don’t think peppers and onions are that expensive. You’re losing weekly customers because someone can’t be bothered to order more. Or be bothered to cook more. That’s a sad excuse to disappoint...
Read moreI am writing to formally report an unacceptable experience I had at this location.
I politely asked an employee if she could please wrap my burrito a little tighter, as they are sometimes not wrapped securely. Instead of simply fulfilling the request, she rolled her eyes, made comments under her breath, and displayed a rude, dismissive attitude. When I asked why she was giving me an attitude, she became even more unprofessional—moving her neck around in a mocking, exaggerated way and continuing to speak disrespectfully.
I then asked to speak with a manager, at which point she falsely claimed that she was the manager. This is deeply concerning, as it is dishonest and demonstrates a lack of integrity. When I requested to speak with someone higher, she refused to take responsibility for her behavior and instead tried to shift the blame onto me. I even stated that the cameras could be reviewed to confirm that I was calm and respectful at all times.
When I finally spoke with the actual manager on duty, rather than addressing the employee’s behavior, the manager attempted to excuse it by saying “it’s been a long day.” During this time, the same employee continued making rude remarks in the background, further escalating the situation and showing no regard for professionalism.
This type of behavior is completely unacceptable in any customer-facing business. Employees should not only be properly trained in professionalism and respect but should also understand that dishonesty and blatant disrespect toward customers cannot be tolerated. I will also be contacting corporate directly to ensure this matter is addressed...
Read moreI go to various Chipotles probably 4 times a week. I frequented the Newington, Manchester, Warwick and others, and the service has always been great.
The Enfield location not so much. Aside from the inattentive work behind the counter, the sloppiness of the meal prep, and lack of listening, this would not be a bad place. The set up is nice.
Watching as I order my food, I can see why some Chipotles get shut down for people getting sick. A piece of chicken fell off my bowl, the girl without hesitation reached for it on the counter and put it right back in my bowl. I also watched the previous customers meal prep, the girl scooped up pinto beans, over filling spoon, as the juices clearly spilled into the black beans, which is disgusting and I believe pinto beans has pork in it, so if your diet can not have swine, well you're getting it with a bowl of mixed pinto and black been.
I didn't ask for lettuce, but I got some anyway. I asked for extra mild salsa, and I got a dumbfounded look back, as she scooped a spoon full of water and salsa into my bowl, sweet I now have a soggy bowl of wet rice.
There is no authority figure in this location, not one I can differentiate from the rest, or like most other places, he/she might be hiding in an office. This location is a perfect example of "the animals running the zoo."
After four really bad experiences here, I'm done. Ah man, I'll have to...
