Homesense — Local services in Enfield

Homesense is by far my favorite store to go to, I go there all the time, and I always tend to see the same few employees every time, and I recently finally got around to asking their names! First off Brenna at the registers is amazing! She’s very personable, she’s helpful, and she is very easy to talk to! Not once have I ever had a bad experience at the register when she’s working. She even remembers me when she sees me and makes it known! Secondly Randy! She is also always very helpful, she knows her way around that place like it’s nothing! You’d think she lives there! She always gives great advice and will help with anything! She gets stuff off shelves for me, helps me find exactly what I’m looking for, and she is also very easy to talk to! I gave 1 star because the customer service is so bad. When you buy glass or fragile decor it’s almost like you have to beg and give supporting facts of why you feel the item should be wrapped in paper to keep it safe. The last two days I’ve spent $400 here and every interaction I’ve had with the staff has been hateful and rude. Today I asked the cashier for another bag at check out because the glass item ripped through the bag when I lifted off the counter and that upset her! On another note the home decor they have is nice with great quality. Other than the staff I love shopping here. I would just recommend having little to no interaction...

I went to return an item with receipt and was unable because I didn’t have the original card, my husband did. The manager was completely inflexible and unwilling to understand my not wanting to take another a trip in due to increase risks with COVID. I offered to get the card number over the phone and they would not take that either. Home sense needs to give their managers some ability to work with people; especially when the policies are ridiculous; if I have my receipt I should be able to get my money back. I did not want a merchandise credit because after this experience I will never be shopping...
