LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Enfield

Unfortunately, the service and the food quality have been inconsistent. Tonight's visit was not a pleasant experience. With the food, I dont know if they had to use another commissary for stocking or if this involves product comstantly being changed...tonight's dinner was just not up to par.

Service: we noticed a significant difference in the way we were served vs two other parties of two...and the party of 9. The server came across very hospitable with the other tables and extremely rushed with us, wanting to cut us short. We waited more than normal to get the appetizer order in because the server was attending to his other three parties. Server had then disappeared for a while.

We contemplated grabbing a manager to just ring our sodas in so we could leave to go to another restaurant, when the server finally came back. Drink order was wrong, had to send a salad back due to the bacon being oil-drenched and over cooked. This is a sign of precooked bacon sitting in (probably) a 6-pan where the oil on it has turned the dark, acrid tasting flavor. We informed the server that it was inedible....but he still kept it on the tab. We didnt get the same timely, attentive services that he gave to his other tables.

I ordered the wings. Server kept pressing me 'thats it? That's all?" And I came close to telling him off... Husband ordered a Tbone, medium...he was served a rare Tbone.

Another painful wait to see the server come back. Other servers took care of serving his three other tables...

By the time the male server came back, we had enough.

We saw a manager on the floor twice and that was it for our long stay. I wanted to address the concerns but we got fed up with waiting all night as a whole.

I went out to eat here 4/25/25 after work around 5pm. I had a great experience and service from the bartender and enjoyed my steak and wine. After spending over $50 in this establishment, I was walking out and two females were holding the doors open. I walked through and said thank you and received no response. As I pushed through the second set of doors, one of the voices holding the door said, have a good day, in a very monotone voice and kinda caught me off guard considering when I said thank you for holding the doors Nobody said anything, But I still said thank you. I didn’t look back as I said thank you but before I could completely finish it the same voice that said have a great day continued the sentence by saying don’t come back. I was already through the doors and so they were closing and this caught me so off guard, and by surprise I turned back around to look through the doors, but I kept walking to my car. I literally sat in my car for a minute and called my best friend to tell her what just happened and make sure I’m not crazy as I debated going back inside to confront them. I ended up actually going back in because how bothered I was by the comment, As a person who works a service job, I’m not gonna pretend we’ve never made a joke or comment behind a customer’s back, But the fact that they so recklessly and loudly felt so comfortable to say something so rude, not caring if the customer cared or heard appalled me. Of course, they deny anyone making this comment, but it was very clear and loud when I heard, I’m actually just so disappointed because I had such good banter with the bartender and I will not be going back to eat here as I after...

I went in for dinner with my two daughters on a Tuesday night around 6pm. The hostess was a young male and an absolute doll. We sat in a booth. Our server came over and honestly seemed annoyed by our presence. It wasn't too busy but he rushed us to order and seemed irritated that we wanted a few minutes to decide on what we we're going to have. We ordered drinks(cocktail for me and iced tea for the girls) apps, then our meals. We had to ask for bread several times. Again seeming irritated. Young man lots of tattoos. Then my youngest 12 asked for her appetizer and he said "oh yeah it's coming. My older daughter and I ate both of our appetizers. Then finally my youngest daughters came out. It's okay if he forgot but just own it and say hey. I'm so sorry I forgot to put it in. Our meals came out literally a minute after. At that point we asked if we could all have water as well. He seemed extremely annoyed by that. We ate our dinner without him ever coming back to check in and see how we were. Suddenly he appeared with the bill but we were not ready to leave nor had we seen a dessert menu. My daughters asked him to see a dessert menu and guess what?..... Again, very annoyed. Each of us ordered our own dessert and our bill reflected everything that we ordered and I cannot understand what the issue was, but we felt very neglected, rushed, and the server just seemed irritated all around that we were there. Regardless, I still left 20% as I understand the restaurant business. However, we will not be going back. We will make the drive to Manchester...
