We had a wonderful visit to The Kettle cafe in Enumclaw on October 24, 2025, around 11:30 AM, and it was such a warm and authentic experience! The place was bustling when we arrived, but everything was still spotless and organized. You can tell this restaurant really cares about keeping things clean and welcoming. It has that small-town charm with an inviting and cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

We ordered the Mickey Mouse pancake for the my nephew, along with orange juice, coffee, and The Kettle Scramble — everything was delicious, fresh, and came out looking amazing. The flavors were comforting and homemade, just what you’d hope for from a true local gem. Even though our order got mixed up at first, our server handled it with such kindness and grace. She mentioned she was new, but she was doing an incredible job! She had the biggest smile, stayed patient despite the rush, and made sure we were happy and taken care of.

What really impressed us was how authentic the entire experience felt — from the food to the friendly service. You could see how hard the staff was working even during the busy rush, and they all kept a great attitude.

Another thing we loved is that The Kettle offers amazing discounts for first responders and service members. That kind of thoughtfulness and appreciation for the community deserves recognition.

Overall, we had a fantastic visit. The Kettle is clean, authentic, family-friendly, and full of heart. Great food, wonderful service, and a welcoming environment that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Enumclaw — it’s a true...

I've been here several times, and the food is absolutely awful! The soup is pre-frozen and nothing is homemade... not even the chili. The chicken tenders, wings, and chicken fried steak are all pre-cooked, frozen, and reheated. They even microwave the omelet toppings and the biscuits and gravy. Speaking of which, the gravy is canned, and the au jus is made from a mix. Here's the kicker: the muffins are nothing more than cheap muffin mix with water! They call themselves professional chefs hun yall are just glorified microwavers. New management has completely ruined this place; it’s gone so far downhill ever since it was bought. I won’t be coming back. Amber Stradiota!

Thank you for your response. However, I want to clarify that I am not a former employee. My review is solely based on my personal experience dining at your establishment. Everything I mentioned in my review is accurate and truthful to what I observed and tasted during my visits.

It’s absolutely disgusting to be threatened with police and lawyers over a review that contains nothing false. Is my review not the truth?

I appreciate transparency and value places that provide honest and authentic dining experiences. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve the quality of the food and service. Multiple people have shared similar feedback months before my review, pointing out the same issues I raised. Wishing you and your establishment the best! I will change my review if the food changes.

Still waiting for the...

Stopped in here on a trip to the west side of the state, and I wish I lived closer!!! It was SO good. It’s has a cozy mom&pops sort of feel. The staff was friendly and prompt with getting order in.

GET THE MUFFIN! So I ordered the lunch special of a Grilled Cheese w/Soup… what I got was: a HUGE grilled cheese (which was tasty), a potato soup (which was beyond amazing! The consistency was just right, with soft little potato cubes in it and NOT “mushy,” and the flavor was incredible… it had the initial great taste with an amazing after taste that made you ready for the next bite!); AND there was a (surprise to me) side of fried; AND it came with (surprise to me, again!) a MUFFIN!!! My total price was…. $11.99! Not bad at all in this economy, and totally worth it.

I received a blueberry muffin, my friend had cinnamon… and I can’t say what is better… they were SO SO good. The muffin top was huge. Blueberry had a lovey summer taste, and the cinnamon had me ready to cozy up with the coming Autumn. The huckleberry was only available on weekends… and it tempts me to drive the hours to get there just to try it.

So if you live in Enumclaw, or you are just driving through… be sure to stop by the Kettle, even if it’s just for a quick muffin, though the meals...

5 stars and nothing less for Enumclaw’s best breakfast; a breakfast of Kings under $30. Despite the customer service being so perfect that we thought we were celebrities, and the place having a small, family-friendly charm, we had the meat lover’s scramble and the veggie scramble to go. The food was ready to go the moment we ordered and within 3 minutes we had the food payed for, neatly packed and ready to go! This is astonishing considering the restaurant was packed. Based on how fast we got our food, the scrambles must be made in large batches, yet they taste so fresh and delicious that you’d never know had they not served it so fast. The friendly older gentleman that took our order from start to finish must have taken so many orders that he had the whole process down to a science. The veggie scramble was our favorite as the mushrooms were just so perfect that we overate. In the future we would just order the veggie scramble with a side of sausage as we like pairing our brunches with some meat. One portion would most likely feed 4 hungry people, but we would want the leftovers. The blueberry muffins that came with our meals were some of the best we ever had. I must say that I considered moving to Enumclaw just to be close to this breakfast/brunch perfection.
