We finally got to go dine in on 3/29/25. Most all was pretty good. Yet the mfoods were definetely deep fried. We had allot of food for two people plus leftovers. Although everything was o.k; there bench seat springs are worn out. But besides that everything else was Allright and our server was good. We returned several months later. We arrived at 645 pm and they close at 8pm; i kinda felt like they (our waiter) was on the pushy side to get us done and gone This time we had the family dinners the Autumn dinner for 2. it came from the kitchen VERY quickly. Infact a little TOO fast for what id THINK woukd take to cook 8 diffetent items it was all o.k and hot. EVERYTHING had an off taste. I couldn't put my finger on exactly WHAT except that everything just tasted GREASY. We ate some, then took the rest home and decided to have some like 2 days later; we heated it up in the .microwave and as we ate we were turned off further by each additional bite; it was totally grose on the second round; GREASE to high HELL. Just totally NASTY_ GROSE!!! I CANNOT reccomend most of there foods. I MIGHT go back to try there terioki or yokisobi. But seeing as all there OTHER foods are "deep fried" im not sure how they cook there other foods; BUT if this is how they cook all the foods we had for this meal and the last time; I'm sertion that deep fat frying is there method of cooking at this...
Read moreAlmost everyone who loves Chinese food has that one place where they tried it for the first time and heard a heavenly choir sing. The Four Seasons is mine. I grew up in Enumclaw and ate here for the first time soon after it opened. My parents were not particularly adventurous eaters so this was a big deal. I loved every. last. thing. I tried. When I was in fourth grade, the teacher went around the room and had everyone state their favorite restaurants. There were a lot of votes for McDonalds and various Mexican places but I was all in on the Four Seasons. I asked to eat there pretty much every birthday of my childhood.
I realize that they have changed owners over the years and the place is a lot more run down but I ate there recently and the food was still great. No one does the pork/vegetable chow mein quite like they do. There really is no bad dish on the menu and I've had them all. Aside from ditching Steak Kew which was a family favorite, most of the food is still much the same as it's been for 30+ years. It's generally pretty fresh and delicious. If I could eat here every week for the rest of my life, I would be pretty happy but unfortunately it's a long commute out to the 'Claw for me these days so I usually only get out there once a year or so. I definitely try to eat here every time...
Read moreThis Chinese restaurant took me back to my days when my mother was alive she loved it. It wasn't this restaurant but it's close to it it's like really '70s you read the reviews which I like. The first thing you'll notice when you come here there's no windows looking out. But what do you need Windows for. I ordered a meal for one I think it was number two. It took quite a while for the food to come. Which is kind of concerning. It's not the waitresses fault she is doing her job very well when I did get the food I'm going to tell you the sweet and sour sauce is so yummy. The chicken is really dry like way over cooked fried. I've never seen chicken wings or Chinese food and they've never really had chicken wings that was a new experience it was really good actually. It's funny but we're changed. So I really recommend a sweet and sour sauce the pork chow mein is so yummy the rice is a little bit different but it was good. And go for the chicken wings you won't go wrong. A couple other things this restaurant is very very clean for being a Chinese restaurant that's...
