I think this is one of my favorite hotels of all time. I have stayed in fancier, more expensive hotels but for the price of the Casper C'mon Inn, I was impressed. My room had free HBO so I was able to catch up on season 3 of The White Lotus. My room had a recliner which was wonderful at the end of the day. The bathtub was roomy with lots of hot water. My refrigerator did not have a freezer which was a small problem for me. I needed to be able to freeze my freezer packs. My room was large. Parking is ample. The courtyard area of this hotel is beautiful with multiple hot tubs, a koi pond and a big breakfast area. Lots and lots of seating. Breakfast is a typical hot hotel breakfast. In the 5 days that I stayed here, I only heard noises from outside my room twice. If you are sensitive to noise as I am, this is the hotel for you. It's quiet. I did ask for a room away from the pool and courtyard, however. My room overlooked the parking lot. One thing that I was extremely impressed with was their attention to detail. When I was looking out my window one morning, I noticed that the pickup that parked next to me had hit a bird and that dead bird was stuck to its grill. Later I looked out and the pickup was gone but they had knocked the dead bird off and it was on the asphalt by my car. Ugh. Within a half an hour, there was somebody out there with a broom and a bucket cleaning up trash from the parking lot, and that dead bird was already gone. The only downside to my visit occurred the first night. After I came back from visiting family, I turned on the TV and was brewing a cup of coffee. I heard a click, the TV went off, the refrigerator went off and the coffee maker stopped brewing. I attempted to see if there was something I could reset but I couldn't. I called the front desk and soon the front desk lady was in my room trying to fix it and she was unable to fix it. She said that the night manager needed to tell her how to fix problems like this. So the only thing they could do was have me move to a different room. So at 11pm, I was moving from one room to another. This didn't set well with me because I was fully unpacked and settled in and I was ready for bed. I had to load everything up and move to the other side of the hotel. She did bring me a hotel cart and keys to the new room. After I moved, I called the front desk and told them I'd left the cart by the elevator, I was not going to bring it down since I was in my jammies. And I also told them that I would expect some sort of credit on my final bill. They credited off $30 which was acceptable to me. This is a clean, well-maintained hotel and I highly...
Read moreI would love to give this place a five star review, because C’mon Inn has wonderful Wyoming Atmosphere and the rooms are exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. However, the air circulation is absolutely TERRIBLE and we paid dearly after an awful nights sleep. My husband has health issues from working in the uranium mines —-and the chlorine and HORRIBLE AIR CIRCULATION was devastating for him. All night long he felt worse and worse, until we woke up in the morning and had to go buy $100 worth of medicine to help him recuperate. We were on the second floor right above one of the hot tubs and the smells and effects were horrible. The first night we had asked for a balcony, because that is a source of fresh air, in our minds and with other hotels. We chose the balcony room but were sad to find out it was a balcony over the pools on the inside. There was not a window that opened to fresh air, which is also an issue for me. On top of that, the balcony door automatically locks so you can be locked out easily and stranded on your own balcony. Or your key will no longer work if you forget and place it near your phone or other credit cards. I have no idea why they choose automatically locking doors on a private balcony. To add injury on top of respiratory issues, the stupid elevator slammed on my husbands arm and bruised him while he was entering with our luggage. The elevator never should have closed so quickly. At check in we were not informed of the hours or availability of breakfast. Housekeeping came to enter our room while we were sleeping at 9:30am in the morning, long before our noon check out. The bath tub would not close on the drain so I had to listen to it gurgling out the whole time. The next morning we moved rooms to the third floor, closer to the entrance and away from the pools with a window that opened a tad to the fresh air, and neither of us could believe how much better we felt. So, if you do choose to stay here and are concerned about allergies or breathing issues, I highly recommend one of the rooms away...
Read moreWe had a horrible stay here. We called before booking to make sure they had a pool open. Our family got in our swimsuits the night we arrived and went down to the pool, but there were 26 kids in the pool! That doesn’t count all the adults and kids sitting on the side chairs. We did not feel comfortable with our kids being so close to others during our country’s pandemic. Our kids were very disappointed, but we told them we could go in the morning. The next morning we woke up to get breakfast then swim. They had ladies passing out the breakfast, but no one was wiping the tables between guests. The tables were all gross and we worried about the safety of sitting there. The pool was supposed to be open in the morning, but the pool and all the hot tubs except for one were closed. We were all in our swimsuits, so we all decided to at least do that. I asked the front desk for towels. The lady was wearing no mask, and was eating behind the desk. Without washing her hands or putting on gloves she handed them to me. I just left the towels at the counter. We went to the hot tub and were in it less than two minutes before a lady with her 4 kids squeezed in with us. This was a tiny hot tub! There were no signs saying only one family at a time or a limit on the number of people, so we made our family leave. We are went back to our room and two ladies were cleaning rooms. They were not wearing masks or even gloves! I am so upset we stayed here. When we told the front desk we were not happy with our stay here, she didn’t ask why or what the problem was. It was obvious she didn’t care. She said we booked with hotels.com so there was nothing they could do. Do not stay here. I did not feel safe here and now I am worried we put our family at risk. How can a business...
