I did rate The Hilton 5 stars for well deserved nothing but top notch service in my crazy...cursed? Circumstances. Let this not reflect on Hilton Garden but let's take a look at the service and security. I cant thank Steve front desk nights and Ma whom runs the kitchen like a star. My last 4 experiences were a drooping eye man whom literally tried to kiss me in the breakfast area drunk at 8am. Rescued by staff they made sure I was safely escorted everywhere and distinguished this man's stay immediately. Other two pool shut down due to work once ok second well seriously. Nothing but apologies and compt. A free stay. I love this place it is clean and beautiful and my go to. My dad whom is a retired successful business man will only stay at Hilton properties. Last stay was interesting. The man next to my room i call super 8 man. Had some type of very x rated business going on during the week loudly. Including swearing and a woman as well. I layed there then 2am rolled around. Not one inkling of rest . I immediately reported the guest to Steve the superman at the front desk. This is not Hilton way ar all and if you have a problem they will stop it immediately. Steve dove into action politely and safely handled this, very inappropriate situation next store with the up most professional manner. I then heard barely anything and slept Luke a baby but was a little tired the next day for a big weekend with my kids. I was with the help of Steve comped another nights stay the next time in the best suite in the hotel. I look at the Hilton staff as not just people working thier but friends and family. They care about the saftey and well being of all guests. The GM with I seem to never get to talk to is very lucky he has such great workers. If it wasn't for them I as a honors member would of probably gave up after the unfortunate rare incidents I encountered. Ma makes sure your fed well. Steve is my body guard and everyone else's. He's got a new York background so he isn't afraid to speak up which us mid western people tend to be lax on assertiveness. I will always stay at the Hilton in Fargo anytime any day of tge week. The level of caring goes above and beyond. It's been a difficult travel year for me but they always greet me with smiles and laughter. It's actually a relief to get off the road and greet the front desk employees. So kind. This place is wonderful. I think its rare and my luck of the draw I get to go through these mishaps. I dont even get upset because they are on it. Immediate apologies and Immediate action. Not ten calls to front desk begging for some help. If you have a bad experience speak up it will be solved. Top notch workers and cleaning staff. Sometimes we look back and can laugh at my luck when these things do happen. It's a hat I wear I guess . But I honestly can't thank the staff enough for being so amazing and standing by what Hilton stands for. Class...cleaniness...and no tolerance for sketchy activity at all. Thank you especially to Steve and Ma. My parents always love Hiltons. Now I know why over this last year. Not being treated as random guest but everybody gets vip treatment. Thank you for everything and always making me feel safe as I travel alone. My kids love coming there as well. They are just wonderful. I hope to meet the GM so these employees get the props they totally deserve. Thank you Hilton Family. Excited to stay again. Only recommendation mountain dew in the pantry fridge Otherwise they got you covered. Lol. God ๐ bless your kindness and making the Hilton feel like home. ๐๐๐๐ Excellence is hard to achieve but that's all I've witnessed with...
ย ย ย Read moreWe love this place. They are business friendly as well as family friendly; I noticed a stash of board games in an alcove by the fireplace in the lobby, and they have a business center adjacent to the lobby also. Wi-fi is standard, of course. They have a nice little fitness center, and a guest laundry. The ambience is welcoming; lots of natural lighting by day, and truly sufficient (but not glaring) light by night. The staff, from the front desk to the dining room to housekeeping, is helpful and accommodating; they really want your stay to be as pleasant as possible. Tony (a manager) has managed, once again, to "pull a rabbit of the hat" in securing our room preference. He sets a high standard for customer service excellence. The dining room experience is a notch above what you would expect for a hotel dining room. Their chefs are truly chefs, rather than hash-slingers. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent experiences for us.....yogurt, several fresh fruit choices, healthy options for cold cereal, and an admirable hot menu; breakfast was perfect for my husband and myself. We had room service for dinner one night, and it was delivered promptly and piping hot. The walleye fingers were not "fishy" at all, with a very light and crispy corn meal coating, and weren't the slightest bit greasy. The pierogies were totally awesome: again, not at all greasy, and served with perfectly sauteed onions, beautifully wilted spinach, and delectables chunks of quality bacon. And their reuben burger is something we'll order again. We are sold on Fargo's...
ย ย ย Read moreLocation of hotel was GREAT & it was quiet. It was clean & the 3 staff members I encountered were friendly. Another pro was our room was ready by noon when we arrived super early!|These are my personal issues so they might not be issues for you, but I am sharing for those like me:|1. The wedding blocked rooms were located on every floor so I had handicapped parents one direction and grandchildren another direction. I guess I should have asked that we be closer when reserving, so this issue could be on me! Note to self.|2. My parents were in the 'disabled' room on the 4th floor AND the room was nowhere near the elevator creating a longer walk for them. Two queen beds would have been better than one king size bed. SO instead of being right on the 1st floor close to the elevator and exit, my parents had a more difficult stay in the 'disabled' room. The shower was walk-in so that was nice but irrelevant when you consider the rest of the issues.|3.TV experience was frustrating. Would be nice to just turn on and have local channels.|4.Restaurant in hotel and no continental breakfast.|5.About 5 parking spots CLOSEST to our door were only for special hotel customers. I think handicap parking would have been more considerate for guests.|We like cleanliness, friendliness and get what you pay for. The Hilton Garden is no better than a Days Inn Wyndham hotel or similar. Can get a better hotel for less--In My Opinion. |Overall, would not stay here again. I do not feel it was worth the money and we got a...
