The Home2 Suites in Fargo is one of the most beautiful and modern hotels I have had the opportunity to experience.
My mother and I spent 3 nights at this hotel in February of 2018.
Our king suite was very spacious with a comfortable couch (which pulls out to a bed) and foot rest (and a curtain which separates the couch from the bed area), computer desk, super comfy massive kind bed and soft pillows, a new TV with tons of channels (and lots of movie ones), and a kitchenette with dishwasher, microwave, sink, glassware and cutlery and large fridge and freezer. There were lots of lamps in the room, some of which had plug ins and USB plugs right on the base which was very convenient. There was also lots of storage space and counters for our belongings.
The lobby was very inviting with lots of seating on colourful couches and chairs. There was complimentary hot chocolate with lots of yummy toppings and a tea and coffee station. The continental breakfast was delicious with lots of options including oatmeal (and many toppings), eggs, juice, fruit and more.
The fitness centre was open 24/7 and had two treadmills, an elliptical, bicycle machine, weights and bench, purified water and laundry machines. The fitness equipment was all brand new and worked great. There were lots of windows to enjoy views of outside (would be nicer in the summer though I'm sure!). It also looked like they had some nice outdoor spaces in the summer like a BBQ area and seating outside.
There was a nice sized pool and hot tub as well which were great. They use saline salt water instead of chlorine which I thought was amazing, as I don't like to subject my body to harsh chemicals if I don't have to. There were colourful lounge chairs around the pool which were perfect for relaxing and lots of windows around the pool area. The water temperature was wonderful! The free Wi-Fi was fast and easy to connect to as well.
Staff were always very friendly, cheerful, positive and helpful which really made the experience even better.
If you come here in the winter, they do have areas in the parking lot where you can plug in. There are grey plug in boxes on some of the light poles in the far end of the lot, away from the entrance to the hotel and closer to the road. I was here when it was -40 so plugging in was very helpful as my car wouldn't have started without it!
I was very impressed with this hotel and will definitely be back in the future. It has a set a very high standard for me and I will recommend it to anyone. Can't wait to come back again. Thank you for a...
Read moreWe were traveling to Fargo over the weekend and decided to book a room at Home2 Hilton as had stayed at other Hilton chains before but never a Home2 one so wanted to check it out...We arrived a little early and stopped to just ask if could happen to check in and they were really accommodating and were ready to check us in right away, Their front desk staff were friendly and courteous, Immediately upon walking into the property it was obvious it was very tidy and very clean thru out all the way from the lobby to the guest rooms which was really nice. This is a very open concept and modern style hotel more basic as far as decor but very comfortable nonetheless but the rooms were spacious and had plenty of light were very bright and welcoming which was really very nice over the Daylights savings wk end and much appreciated. They do have automatic blackout shades which black out alot of sunlight if trying to rest etc as well though. They have a table you can move we used that when eating supper and moved it over by the sofa. They have a good sized desk area and also closet area for hanging clothing. They had a cuisinart coffeemaker with coffee pods and a good sized refrigerator and such in the room. We booked a handicapped accessible suite as we really just wanted a bathtub after driving in the car awhile is nice to just be able to kick back and relax. The bathtub setup was also very nice in that its a more wide and rounded style of tub so it almost feels like a mini deep soaker and they either have hose attachments in those rooms or regular shower attachment if just wanna take a normal shower. The Bed was very comfortable we really enjoyed that and slept very well whatever type of mattresses they had there were very comfy. As well as were the pillows they were pretty comfortable too. The comforter itself was a bit small on the bed is only thing can mention really critic wise but they had an extra blanket in the closet that was a larger one which we also used on the bed and that was great ....This was an overall really nice hotel and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if in the Fargo area and would recommend this one as a good option to stay at on your...
Read moreWarning: longish, positive review!! Came to town during a VERY busy weekend where a lot of hotels were either booked or over priced. Started out at the Ramada, let’s just say the Google reviews on that hotel were no joke, or over dramatic in any way. After being at the Ramada for less than an hour we started seeking out another hotel. Called nearly every hotel in the area, most don’t take dogs - I had my beagle with me that weekend. Finally ran across Home2 Suites. I explained our situation to the receptionist over the phone and she got us in immediately - this was around 1030pm. She even looked up the best rates available and was able to squeeze us in for a decent price! The staff here are excellent and very friendly! I even informed them of a possible ice machine not working and not even 2 minutes later they were looking into it to see what was wrong! Breakfast was great and has options for those who enjoy a healthier lifestyle - not your typical continental full of grease/fat breakfast bar! Rooms were clean and I love the full size fridge and mini kitchenette area! Great for week long stays! There was even a poop bag station outside - HUGE bonus in my book!! I’m so glad I came across this hotel chain. I wish there were more like it. They’ve got my business every time I’m traveling with my dog - they can count on that!! Thanks again Fargo Home2 Suites for...
