It's hard to enter into the Fayetteville coffee market, with one of the top 10 coffee roasters in the country having a dominant presence here. Yet, Old Pine has done so masterfully. How? By having top-notch service, prioritizing the importance of aesthetics in a coffee shop, and by having dang good coffee, too! The first time I came in, I ordered an Ethiopian pour-over, which was one of the best pour-overs I have ever had; and it was even brought to me where I was sitting by the barista āĀ a regular practice at Old Pine. The owner, Tommy, doesn't just manage from a distance, but is the most common face that you'll see working as a barista in Old Pine. He clearly works hard and exudes kindness, too, as all the other baristas do, as well. They have an eye for aesthetics, with appealing wood-crafted tables, porcelain cups, and kettles for their pour overs. And the place is both very cozy and perfect for studying. I won't lie and say that Old Pine has the best cup of coffee in Fayetteville āĀ that would be Onyx āĀ but Old Pine has won my loyalty as a customer by their kindness and the way the develop relationships with...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlease stop by and say hello to Abbey and the crew at Old Pine Coffee Roaster. If you are looking for a coffee that is not over priced, actually tastes like coffee, isnāt overly sweet, and doesnāt taste like chemicals, this is the place to visit! We were in town for a week and sampled coffee from five different establishments. The friendliness of the staff alone was worth our second, third, and fourth visit to Old Pine. But the low key atmosphere, functioning Wi-Fi, and the milk texture achieved with every coffee made each visit even better. Thank you, Abbey for taking the time to educate us and answer all of our questions. You will be one of our first stops next time we are in town. We miss you and the crew already! (Note: My daughter has been a barista and knows quality and texture when...

Drink-wise, I ordered an iced London fog, but it wasnāt great. It tasted like too much water was added when steeping (which watered down the drink) or there just wasnāt a good ratio of milk and tea. I couldāve asked to remake the drink but I didnāt have enough time. Considering that it was pricey and I left a tip, I was pretty disappointed. My overall experience here wasnāt terrible but I was expecting a decent drink. If you do decide to try this place out, just stick with a latte....
