Big Boi Teriyaki n Sushi — Restaurant in Fife

We live in NE Tacoma and frequently pass through Fife, we were so excited when we saw the Big Boi sign go up. It’s been a long time since we’ve lived near a GOOD teriyaki (and sushi) joint and finally, this is it! We stopped by for a Friday night dinner and received a warm greeting, it has a very clean and modern design, and there is a huge menu to choose from. We ordered from the Wok as well as got a roll and a few a la carte items. Everything came out within 10 minutes. The food was hot and tasted very fresh. This place just opened as of 9/2/25 they will do well. They are using quality ingredients from the produce, meat, and even the rice how it should be. I ordered the kung pao chicken and a roll, both excellent. Fair portions just like the name says big boi. The kung pao was done right, not just some soupy mess like other places. The chicken to veggie ratio was in favor of the chicken which is super rare to see. It is a little spicy like the menu suggests so ask for mild if spicy aint your thing. Tried this place for the first time and ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki and chicken yakisoba to go. Portions were generous, and the taste was far better than the other two teriyaki places in Fife. My mom and aunt used to run teriyaki restaurants in the past, so I know what good teriyaki tastes like. And this place definitely exceeded my expectation.
