How could Tatoosh Grill improve?
I and 2 others got food poisoning from the calamari. I called today to let the restaurant know that we got sick and was transferred to security to make a report. Security asks if I'm as the casino and I said no I eat there last night before closing at 2am. I was told I had to come back to the casino to make a report so I did. I go to security and the guy behind the desk calls someone and gives me some papers. Then some lady comes up behind me and starts talking to me out of no where and I didnt knoe why she was cause she didnt say she was staff right away and I was confused. She then asks the guy for different paperwork then what he gave me. As shes trying to talk to me so I can understand what they need from me cause no ones explained anything really the lady is getting call after call so I tell her to answer it as it seemed important if they repeatedly called. The lady doesnt even make it 10 feet away before a different staff member randomly comes up to me and starts talking to me. Goes on to ask if I want medical attention I say no because its food poisoning and that's not needed for this. I want going to have them call 911 over this. The guy then says I need different paperwork that ended up being the same papers from the first guy. I'm asked to fill it out and I do and then some management person comes and they seem to all need to talk with each other and I said that's fine I'll be back a little later for the out come. Beforw I had walked away I was asked what I expected and I said I wasnt sure if anything maybe a refund of that dish. The calamari was 12 or 15 and we had spent around 90 for the 3 of us to eat and a tip so I didnt think it was a unreasonable request. I come a little later and I'm basically told nothing will be done and I'm lying because I didnt get sick when we had been eatting it at the table and I had waited to long in the day to call for food I had the day before. We had been in tatoosh on the 16th from 11pm something to 150am the 17th. I called at 230ish pm the 17th to report it. The reason I hadnt called earlier is because I was waiting to hear back from my friend who eat with us to see if she was also sick. If she wasnt sick as well then it would have been the salmon that my boyfriend and I had together and not the calamari. So I was waiting to hear back from her to know what it was that made us sick. I was told it must have been something else. I said no because it's the only dish all 3 of us had and that the meal at tatoosh qas the only meal of the day I had even eatten so i couldnt have been sick from something else and it wouldnt explaine why my boyfriend and friend also had it. So the start of my call was just to inform them of the bad food then qas told I need to do paperwork so I was like ok cause I dont want someone else sick to 5 different ppl trying to deal with the situation but no one handling it well at all and leaving me very confused to why all the ppl are needed and no one explained anything well at all. Ending with me being told nothing will be done and I'm lying cause I didnt get sick right on the spot so it's a lie. Read moreI ate here yesturday for my birthday. I chose to come here because in the past I received outstanding service and the food was great.. this time it was not. When we first got there we sat our selves at the bar which wasn't an issue as we sat there the times before next to the window. The problem was the bartender at first.H just didn't really look like or act like he cared 🤷 which wasn't a problem til I got my food. To give you a tiny bit of background, I've worked and managed in full service hotels SO I KNOW good service. I ordered the top sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes which were delicious by the way and it's all I ate in my plate other than the other 1/4 of my steak. I ordered it medium rare. My steak came back RARE the middle was still RAW to the point where it's not bleeding like it should be when I cut threw it and the steak itself was inedible! I complained about it to the bartender and I didn't want to cause problems because it was my birthday and I didn't want to get mad as my whole day was already aweful I wanted a break lol but he insisted on telling his manager. When the manager came he didn't even come look at my steak rather he chose to gossip to the bartender and I overheard one of them say "yea she just wants a free meal" no, I wanted a good meal with a good steak for my damn birthday. So now after being forced to have the manager told about my horrible meal, then the gossip I overheard I am absolutely appalled that they talk about their customers like this! I was going to stay and have a few more drinks but I went home still hungry and sober and really upset that I was treated in the way I was. Before we got the bill he didn't even ask the person I was with for a refill on his drink either til we asked for our check. He didn't really pay any attention to us At all. I'm so disappointed. Don't know if guy was having a bad day or what but you don't let your personal issues reflect on your customers. And to the manager if somebody complains about their food. You come speak to your customers. Not gossip about them as if they can't hear you or just shrug your shoulders. That's not your job. Read moreI went here on my way home from work the other night. I wanted to call my order in so I can find parking and pick up my order in hopes that it would be ready. The first time I called they transferred me to the bar, and the bar told me that they could not transfer me to the restaurant I would have to call back. The second time I called they transferred me to the bar again, and the bar told me the same thing, so the third time I called I asked the operator could she please transfer me to the restaurant because the bar keeps telling me they cannot transfer me to the restaurant, she says yes and when she tried to transfer me the phone hung up. So I called back four times after that and each time someone picked up the phone and immediately hung up in my face. The final time I called someone answered and at this time I was quite upset and I asked why is it that someone keeps hanging up the phone in my face I have called several times. I explained to her what happened and I told her that I was not trying to take it out on her, however I was very upset. I asked her could she please transfer me to the restaurant, buy this time it had taken me about 20 to 30 minutes to get the restaurant and place my order. I could have walked in there place my order and probably been back in my car and drove off by that time, however I did not think that it was going to take that much time. I thought when they built a new casino that their old ways were going to change things like this is why I stopped going to this casino in the first place. I used to stop by from time to time in my RV when I was going on a road trip leaving town to go perhaps to another casino.
