Front desk service was very nice and friendly. Although, I was charged a “refundable” $100 deposit when I checked in, which was not explicitly declared as mandatory when I booked the room! The only mention of a deposit was at the very bottom of booking site when it talked about having pets in the room. I did not bring any pets, was not asked about having any pets, and did not check any boxes during booking that I would have pets. The room was lower quality than expected. I reserved a room with King bed and in room 2 person jacuzzi tub. Walking into the room, smelled very old and musty, and as pictured the jacuzzi tub is chipping in several places and has some kind of blue liquid stain coming out of one of the jets? Also there’s a handle missing on the tub controls, and if I’m honest I’m scared to use it in such a dilapidated state. The website didn’t show any pictures of the actual bathroom, so I’ve attached a few. Off color paint, water damage, and it looks like mold along the top edge of the shower…? The walls are incredibly thin. Well, at least the ceiling/floor is for sure. I stayed on the ground floor and could hear my upstairs neighbors. Inside of the microwave very clean, inside of the fridge clean but kinda broken as pictured. The curtain rod cover is very dusty, and the desk lamp didn’t work. TV works well, and the Wi-Fi was actually decent signal. Also has one of those “between rooms deadbolt double door” things. Cleverly hidden in photos, just something to point out for people that like it, or people like me who don’t like those. In the morning, woken up every 5-10 minutes starting at 5:30am by an obnoxiously close by train horn. The free breakfast was just okay. Clean breakfast area, but nothing notable about the food. Kudos to the guy who photographed the room for the website, made it look very clean and luxurious to ensure I made the non-refundable reservation.

The quality of our room was extremely disappointing to say the least. I don’t often write reviews, but the condition of this property was so abysmal that I felt I would be doing everyone a disservice by not shedding light on my experience. The hotel bathroom wall was caked in some unknown splattered substance (as pictured) and pink mildew. The fan was so loud and clunky sounding, I would be surprised if other guests multiple rooms away couldn’t hear it. I was afraid to walk barefoot on these floors, my foot would stick each time I put it down. I’m not sure when the last time the floors were truly cleaned. The bathroom counter had finger smudge marks all over it, indicating to me it wasn’t property cleaned during turnover. There were no outlets available at the head of the bed on either side, so good luck charging your phone near you at night. Additionally, the appliances haven’t been updated since they were invented. I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen a microwave with a crank. One overhead light flickered on and off throughout the duration of our stay, usually only staying on for 5-10 minutes. To top it all off, we were hoping to at least have some hot and quick breakfast on the way out, but of course that experience couldn’t have redeemed the rest of the trip. The staff member assisting with breakfast was rude to multiple guests within the 30 minutes we were in the lobby. She actually shooed someone away when they asked for more waffle batter (it had been empty for at least 15 minutes) by shaking her hands at him and saying “yeah yeah yeah” as if sending him off in another direction. I have learned my lesson staying in a quality inn. Highly recommend going literally anywhere else. I can spend over $100 and get significantly better than this.

We stayed two nights at the hotel for just under 300. I am 8 months pregnant and with me was my husband and 11 year old. This place looked optimistic from the entrance. The desk staff was friendly and they had surveillance cameras. But, it quickly went downhill. The street had numerous drug addicts, to include one actively shooting up as we drove past. Once in the room, it was discovered that an ozone machine was left in our room and it was on, the staff forgot it was in there, and sent someone to get it when we drew it to their attention. There was what looked like poop smeared on the bathroom door, a weird clump that moved in the drain, a moldy bathroom, smelly towels with staining on them, and a discolored bathtub that peeled beneath my feet and felt like I was going to fall through. The bathtub was also uneven and the watered pooled in areas. The front curtains had red splatter and staining on them. The ground by our bed was severely scratched. We left the room to check out the exercise room and the elliptical and treadmill were broken. The fitness room also had old beds and furniture in the corner that made it look like a partial storage. Once at breakfast the next morning, there was black hairs on the plastic utensils. The lady cleaning and stocking breakfast items was eating breakfast with the guests, while items were empty, to include the juice machine that poured clear liquid for apple juice and orange juice. We opted to go elsewhere. I asked if we could print something from the patron computers and was told the printer did not work. The following day, at breakfast there was a line of ants going in and out of the fruit bowl. Needless to say sleeping in the car and saving money would have been more worth it.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! ( THIS COMING FROM A CURRENT FRONT DESK MARRIOTT EMPLOYEE!!! )

I stayed at this location for a few days. The first day and check in was good. No complaints. MY second day was a little different. I Was staying at this location because my husband was being discharged from hospice and coming home for the last few days he has. I had my do not disturb my door and twice someone tried to enter. House keeping and then maintenance and he didn't even knock. I always leave a camera up in my room and this was caught on camera but when i talked to the front desk lady about it. She made it seems as though i was lying. Whatever i get they have to deal with a lot of crazy people at this location so i was willing to let it go. MY last day there was not supposed to be my last day however. I mistakenly took the wrong phone with me that had our debit card in it so my daughter went to the front desk explained and they gave her until noon to renew. well I wasn't sure she had made it in time and i wasn't able to get into my room for she had the key. When i went to the front desk to get one. There was a lady ahead of me who was having some kind of issue with her credit card or something but it was clear there was a issue. When i was next i asked for a key. She said she didn't have a key and i would need to get it from my daughter. Who i remind you was on her way to work after she paid for the room. * I did not know she already had done so. SO i explained she was doing that. They lady was on the phone with someone who said "tell her she has until 1230 to check out.Check out?! Why?I didn't know my daughter had renewed on time. But whatever well she said she would have maintenance let me in the room. This is at 1200. By 1215 I went back saying that maintenance hadn't let us in. So she let me in the room. MY husband who was in the rest room was having a hard time and my daughter called me back and said she already paid. I went back to the front desk and stated she had already paid and explained my husband was ill and didn't have a lot of time and this was going to make things way harder. She had me take a seat in the lobby while she called the manager. During the call i heard her try and call BS on my situation because she was just at the room and the guy looked fine. I am shocked by now and i explain that wasn't my husband that was his brother. She didn't care she was beyond rude. so I went back and started packing up the room not even 5 mins later she comes knocking on the door telling us we need to leave. MY brother and law and I showed her how much we had to pack up and that we did not get in the room until 12:19. SO she decides to call the cops. It was a relief that the officer was friendly and was sympathetic to our situation. He waited until we were ready to go and he left. He stated I wouldn't stay here again this a problem hotel. HE was right about that. Its not my fault you don't have enough room keys firstly. Secondly all of it was uncalled for and i hope karma catches them because there was no bsing on this end. The 2 of them shouldn't be in that kind of position because its clear they have zero customer service. I complained to choice and demanded a follow up. I will...

The best part of this hotel was the geographical location and proximity to freeways and entertainment options. As for the stay, Check-in was great! Very helpful front desk check-in attendant. The rooms can definitely use an upgrade, especially the bedding and sheets. The displeasure in earnest took place the following morning before check-out. The reason I choose Choice Hotels is not necessarily for the comfort of luxury, but rather for the convenience. One of those conveniences listed on the Choice Hotel website was a hot breakfast, and "Grab & Go Breakfast," allowing guests on the go in the morning the ability to grab some food as the head out to tackle the day. As a first responder, this is one of the selling points for when I need to book rooms for myself and my team when being deployed across the state/country to respond to natural disasters and wildfires. This hotel, while advertised Grab & Go Breakfast as an amenity, instead made for an awkward and uncomfortable breakfast experience souring the rest of the stay. I walked into the breakfast area (Self Serve) and proceeded to make myself a waffle, bagel and was putting together a typical breakfast plate. During this time a hotel employee was standing, positioned awkwardly between the food and beverage counters and the dining tables, watching me as I maneuvered around her to get to the refrigerator and coffee station. After I gathered my breakfast plate and coffee and began to leave, she stepped in front of me and said that I couldn't leave the dining room per hotel policy and that all food must be consumed in the dining area. This was something I have never experienced before and was taken aback not knowing if it was said in jest. She indicated that I must sit at a table and consume my breakfast. I informed her of Choice Hotel's "Grab & Go" advertised amenity that was listed as a feature of that particular property to no response besides, "No, that's wrong." I informed her that I was not interested in arguing or making an issue out of it, but politely asked if I could speak to a manager to clarify the policy that contradicts what was advertised. I was told that no manager was on duty and won't be available until late afternoon. Not wishing to cause a scene, I sat down at a table and began eating my waffle. The employee continued to stand about 3 feet away from me and was watching me eat the entire time. It may have been my sour mood at that point, felt as though, she kept an eye on me to ensure I don't slip a banana or a yogurt in my pocket and try to slip away. I nibbled around the edges of my plate and threw away my breakfast, as the whole situation made me want to be anywhere but in that dining room and the longer I had food in front of me, the longer I would be captive to the the breakfast hall. I am very disappointed in this hotel and the way the staff treated the entire situation. I would have at least appreciated acknowledgement and accommodation by staff when I presented them with the information listed on its own website contradicting their directives towards me or at the very least, taking the time to explain why such a policy is in place instead of just telling me that the...

The receptionist at check in was rude and not helpful at all. Her customer service needs a lot of improvement. My experience started off negative from the start but I had hope that the room would be better. Unfortunately, as soon as I walked into the room, I noticed a terrible smell that never went away. the smell alone was strong enough that I almost considered leaving. The walls had stains on them and the floors were very dirty. The bedding also had stains on them which was very disgusting. The bathtub looked dirty and looked like it was spray painted white to cover up the dark spots. The lights on one of the lamps also did not work and the main ceiling lighting would flicker. The outlets next to the bed did not work. During breakfast, the staff stared at us the whole time which made us very uncomfortable and as a result we were not able to enjoy breakfast. It was also upsetting that the staff didn’t take time to wipe down the tables ever after the guests finished especially since they were in the other room laughing and talking to each other the whole time. I noticed that guest spilled their coffee and nothing was done about it. They just continued talking and didn’t bother helping clean the floor or put a “wet” sign nearby even though they were staring at the dumb ing area the whole time. The hot food was also cold and one of the yogurts was expired so I had to throw it away myself. Luckily I noticed before eating it. The dining experience was so bad that I had to throw away my untouched food and went to go eat somewhere else. The only positive experience was that there was a different receptionist at check out and she was very helpful and listed to my concerns. Unfortunately I don’t think anything will improve with this location but I definitely will not ever be staying here. I have been a loyal quality inn guest and have been to many different quality inn hotels in different locations and this is by far the worst one. Not I am now considering staying at a different hotel brand moving forward. I know I can get a better experience somewhere else since I have been let down by quality inn. I hope future guests do not experience what I experienced and something truly gets...
