Residence Inn by Marriott Decatur Forsyth — Hotel in Forsyth

First of all, I would like to say very clean environment very clean atmosphere great Breakfast I would like to say I will come back again, but unfortunately, after what I have witness the day of June 4th of this year, I don’t think I will ever come back. I have witnessed the most discriminating situation ever in my life and into the young lady it happened to in that lobby. I pray God finds your path which your boss did to. You was not right in the way, she talks to you was very unprofessional. I just so happen to want to tell a little bit of the story because I feel bad for the young lady, so I just so happen to be sitting downstairs, and I noticed that this young lady Boss continuously to nail her about things that should’ve been appropriately said to her after shift, but instead the young lady Boss decided to humiliate her and blame her for a decision of someone else doing When she explained to the guest that was angry because he cannot move his car. The young lady went to the back and the argument got louder as a young lady walked outside the doors Commenting that she refuses to sign A note that stated that she’s voluntary quitting. The young lady got upset due to Boss constantly nailing her with a different situation every time the young lady removed herself from the office as I seen and went to the back and was trying to get her a ride as her boss put her out in the rain and called the police on her after firing her And told the police officers that she quit that young lady was a sweet lady, and she helped us with everything was very respectful very well manner and I feel bad for her to even have to work with a woman of a boss like her. I stay in this hotel a few weeks ago. I booked via third party and paid with a “third party card” I did not have to pay a deposit just a $20 incidental fee and was given my room key. I tried using this hotel again and booked before getting there after HOURS of traveling and was told I had to pay $250 deposit which was weird being I didn’t have to do that a few weeks ago. I then tried to pay the fee and was told I could not use my “third party card” which is chime. Mind you it’s the same card I booked with last time I stayed there a few weeks ago and the same card I paid with to book. Because the hotel does not take chime I was turned around and denied a refund when it was NOT MY FAULT! Hotels.com wanted to give me a refund because they know it’s not my fault but they needed and approval from the general manager whom DENIED it! That was literally my last! Me and my children had to sleep in my car overnight until I got paid again! The fact that they kept my $162 simply because they don’t take my card is crazy, disgusting and inconsiderate. The girl that was at the desk was extremely rude and defensive for no reason. The manager was nonchalant and came downstairs in house shoes VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I will be reaching higher up until this is resolved! Hotels.com even stated how rude these people were. They didn’t know I was in contact with them while they were talking to hotels.com she swore she was doing the best she could to help us and at that same time hotels.com stated how rude and uncooperative she was being! Overall experience at this hotel was amazing. The decor is incredible. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed to cook a nice dinner. Bring your own pot if you're cooking for more than one person. Bed was super comfortable. Lots of room for three people. Staff here was courteous, kind, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast was top-notch. Only reason for four stars, was because we came here to swim, pool smelled and water tasted strange. Definitely not chlorinated enough and tiles surrounding the pool were grimy and moldy. Once they fix that problem, and the pool matches the newly renovated hotel, it will be five...
