Came here for birthday tonight. We do it every year for endless shrimp. Walking in the door, the hostess didn't say anything to us and didn't look up from her stand. She continued staring at her stand and asked "how many". I said three and a baby, still not looking at us she said "this way". Didn't bring a kid menu for 4 year old. Didn't ask if we wanted a sling or anything for baby in car seat. Ordered appetizer and drinks. Waitress was trying to drop our appetizer off and the hostess came over, interrupted her, and said you need to take this other table. So our waitress went to get the other tables order. Went to eat our mushroom appetizer and the mushrooms were completely under cooked! It was clear to see the mushrooms were shriveled and dry, then inside was completely uncooked. I went to the front and asked to speak to manager. The gentleman said he was a manager. I began to explain my frustrations and he really didn't seem to care about the mushrooms. I then told him that we want to do endless shrimp, however, I'm concerned the kitchen won't be able to keep up. I mean if they can't fully cook mushrooms.... The manager just stated "they should be able to" I said "I mean are they THAT busy back there?" (there were not many people in the restaurant) He raised his eye brows and said "no, they're not". We decided to stay and eat the endless shrimp after our waitress assured us that our food would be kept up with and correct. Our waitress was trying really hard to keep us satisfied. Every shrimp except the scampi was cold. My husband's loaded baked potato came with only sour cream. My ranch dressing salad came with french dressing. It's tough for me to put all this out there because I really don't like to complain but it was just awful. It's unfortunate because as I said, we go there every year for my birthday and mutiple other occasions throughout the year. We will be going elsewhere...

My wife and I continue to go there 2-3x per year, and the last few experiences (including Valentine's day) have been so much better! My wife never wavers from the Walt's fried shrimp entree; I have discovered Salmon New Orleans (which has been cooked to perfection three times running / pictured). All this, I have changed my previous review from 1 to 4 ⭐'s!
What happened to Red Lobster? What a disappointing dining experience! Where shall I begin? At the five o-clock dinner hour the restaurant was completely out of lobster tails and butterfly shrimp. The bowl of clam chowder was delivered, but appeared to me to be less than half filled (I requested a more "generous" serving and it came back with ever so much more). The soup was thin and scant -- certainly not rich or creamy. My wife remembers the Caesar salad having shredded cheese on past occasions, but not tonight. And the tarter sauce -- what happened to the tarter sauce? It used to be tangy with plenty of relish; tonight's tarter sauce was almost entirely mayonnaise with a trace of relish every so often (upon close inspection). The special upcharged side order of harvest vegetables was undercooked and meager (all of 5 brussel sprouts and and about a third of a cup of diced sweet potatoes for an extra $2.50 -- we returned those). Mind you, nothing was prompt about the service. At long last, after paying in cash, I received my change, which included forty cents -- delivered in nickels, all...
Read moreWow what an incredible terrible experience—and I have had my share of terrible service in my life but sadly this just takes the cake — My mother & I have been coming here on & off for years — and it’s always been great, but I highly suggest to ANYONE never having Michael as their server — This gent needs NOT to be a server here or anywhere else !— I was a bit skeptical, when it had been at least 25 minutes before he checked back with us, and anything— as regular check ins is the proper technique for any server — It was when our food was almost an hour late, and I had to check with a manager — he clumsily asked if we “were ordering anything else” to which we found out, NOT ONLY had he not even put in the order, also had not remembered even TAKING OUR ORDER and the place was not even that crowded…
We should have gotten up and left then— Also other tables were also having similar issues with him —- and the two ladies on staff in that section were going above and beyond to put out the fires of his incompetence— The manager was good enough to comp our meals —-As for Micheal, he showed very little humility or remorse.
It’s a good thing my husband was not with us. He would’ve probably had us walking out after such a debacle… My mother and I are much more patient.!
Do better Red Lobster —- being a server is not for everyone —and definitely not...
