I don't often take the time to write reviews of companies or sales associates, but in this case I would like to reviewing a shopping experience I had at City Mattress in Ft Lauderdale. As far as the business itself, i liked shopping for a bed and mattress there, because the physical store is not overly large and the specialized inventory is what I'm shopping for: a bed and mattress. So you don't have to spend unnecessary time wading through all kinds of furniture to find a bed and mattress. As far as the products, the beds are good looking and the mattresses are top-notch The sales associate i worked with, Nera Langston, was a pleasure to work with. She established a casual personal relationship immediately, while determining what I was looking for. In this case i needed a king bed, preferably with an upholstered headboard, somewhat conservative looking. She asked me about a mattress and initially i told her i was looking at one online and showed her the picture. She showed me what she had available that was comparable and offered me a very competitive price. There was never a hard sell and I never felt pressured. In addition she organized the delivery to my condo building effortlessly, noting that she knew company insurance was required and subsequently provided that document to our building manager. Last month my spouse and I visited City Mattress in search of a new mattress. Patrick Honeycutt was so incredibly helpful, genuine, and kind! He helped us find the perfect mattress. It was a wonderful, pleasant experience; we did not feel rushed or pressured at all to make the purchase. I mentioned my back and neck issues to Patrick, and he suggested the perfect mattress for my condition. In fact, I haven’t had nearly as much pain since we started sleeping on it, thankfully.
