BRIEF VERSION Very expensive, very little food. And they charge you a fee for using a credit card. $15 for a small burger and 5 onion rings, no beverage. $.50 extra for cheese, $.50 extra for tomato and lettuce. Skip this place and go to Whataburger. DETAILED VERSION I read an article of this place somewhere and I couldn't wait to try it, turns out, it could have waited. I kept it original and ordered a single burger, just as it comes. Especially since cheese was $.50 extra and lettuce and tomato was $.50 extra. Who charges for lettuce and tomato on a burger?! I was about to order fries for $3, but saw someone else had onion rings. Onion rings weren't on the menu but when I asked about them sure enough, they had them. I didn't want to spend another $2 on a drink so I just stuck with a burger and onion rings. My total was over $15!!! I figured maybe there would be a mountain of onion rings. I received my food and there were 5 (five, cinco, lima, quinque, funf) onion rings! The burger was tiny, it was as big as a whataburger junior burger. The bun was kinda dry, as you can see in the photo. The taste of the burger was good, but Whataburger is way better, and they don't charge for lettuce and tomato. Oh, the cherry on top.........they charge you a fee for using a credit card. Which by the way, is against the laws of the Texas business code. I didn't see any signs about a credit card fee, they just happily took my credit card when I gave it to them, added on the charge and then ran the card.

Hookers Grill – Fort Worth Stockyards Walking up, I was impressed by the western theme and atmosphere—it definitely sets the mood. The food was inexpensive, but unfortunately, the quality matched the price. The highlight? The hand-cut fries. At $4.50, the portion was huge and honestly delicious. My friend ordered them, while I went with the tater tots. When my order came out, I was surprised to find exactly twelve tots in the basket. I even went up to the window to check if there had been a mistake, but the staff counted them out and confirmed that twelve was the correct portion. Meanwhile, my friend’s fries could’ve fed two people. Luckily, he shared some—those fries really were the best part of the meal. To their credit, the manager/owner stopped by our table to ask how everything was. My friend responded positively, and I mentioned the small portion compared to the fries. She acknowledged it but explained that I did receive the correct portion, and maybe my friend had just been given too much. Overall: fun atmosphere, friendly service, and standout fries—but portion sizes are inconsistent and the “cheap food” feel holds it back. 2.5 stars.

BEST MOST AFFORDABLE BURGERS!! THIN AND CRISPY HOMEMADE FRENCH FRIES!!! EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS!!!

Second time I’ve been back and couldn’t wait. Everything is high quality beef and ingredients. The owner is making sure everything is perfect. She watches over and helps cooks everything and will answer any questions you have.

It’s worth a try! Way better than anything you can eat at the stockyards, I’ve been all over. Unfortunately, away from all of the popular restaurants, but you can still walk there. You’ll see a small building where she cooks, with a beautiful Indian and colors painted on it. I’ll continue to come here and recommend to everyone I know.

I’ve had the hamburgers and French fries. Large juicy high quality beef, delicious bread, one of my favorite burgers ever. The French fries are thin and crispy made fresh and well-seasoned. My husband had the steak burger and loved it.

This time we had the absolutely delicious Indian Taco WOW!!!!! I’ve never had anything like it. Made from homemade fresh fried bread layered with beans, sauce and lettuce and tomatoes. You get a nice large size. My husband and I shared it and almost couldn’t get enough of it. We also shared the chili cheese hot dog, juicy, high quality hot dog and the bread is fresh and soft, loved the chili, you can tell it is homemade. Had the tater tots and very crispy, loved them.

We can’t wait to come back and try her Indian ice cream with the local homemade ice cream. She described it to us and I’ve never heard of anything like it.

Once you try this place, you’ll keep...
