Came in for my birthday and had a terrible experience. My family recommended this place so we tried it out, the valet guy looked like his clothes were dirty and his shoe laces were untied and he was very unprofessional. We walked in and the host greeted us kindly and gave us a seat (she was the only good thing about this place). We sat at the table for awhile and our server Wendi M finally greeted us. I asked for a sweet tea and was told they didn’t have sweet tea… this is actually INSANE for a TEXAS STEAKHOUSE to NOT have sweet tea! Do you know how EASY it is to make sweet tea? Who’s dumb idea is it to not offer sweet tea? Anyways I got a water instead and said I’d be interested in a beer later. ( I NEVER received a drink menu after). We asked about bread and were told we had to purchase a meal to get bread sent to the table. I can’t believe a steakhouse with the price points they have can’t even offer complimentary bread. And it was a BASIC small loaf when we got it. Absurd. We ordered two Filets, Ribs and Chicken, and a NY Strip. Our salads came out and while the dressing was good the salads were hardly cut and just whole pieces of lettuce and large slices of radishes. They needed to be cut up WAY more. Our server hardly checked up on us so there was no pre-busing even though we had all finished our salads long before the meal and we had to ask the other waitress to take them as she tried to walk off without doing so. The Chicken and ribs were ok, chicken was good but the ribs were DRY. The NY Strip was the only good meal we were given. Cooked correctly and ironically more tender then the filets. The filets…were AWFUL. We ordered medium rare and they were almost blue rare. They were incredibly chewy and there was hardly any seasoning they were so bland. I had to use the bearnaise sauce with EVERY bite just to make it edible. I couldn’t even cut it with a steak knife and every bite was like chewing meat gum. I’ve had much better Filets at HALF the price. $45 is criminal for such awful steaks. When Wendi FINALLY came to check on us we told her it wasn’t very good and that my mother just decided to split my fathers NY strip because we were on a schedule for my birthday. No apologies, no manager came to speak with us and they never took the filet off the bill or even discounted anything so they received money for nothing. (Bill was almost $200). Wendi said I get a desert for my birthday and after waiting another 20 minutes it finally came out and she set it down and just walked away. Wendi could have cared less about us or our experience. We finally left and I was in awe of how terrible this place was and how poorly managed it was. This was hands down the WORST birthday dinner I...
Read moreWe arrived at this restaurant for reservation at 5 p.m. in the afternoon on a Sunday. My spouse brought me here in part of St Valentine's Day celebration on a recommendation from a friend. I noticed the parking situation was awful. It appeared that the restaurant itself had no specific parking lot and was situated on a corner adjacent to the fort Worth stockyard. This restaurant does have an attached hotel next door but there is free valet parking for the restaurant. There was no handicap accessible parking and upon exit, I had to stand and wait for my vehicle. The restaurant area does have a cowboy type feel and look about it. The seats at the bar are saddles the floor is hardwood plank and there are places to hang your cowboy hat along the wall. It seems that a cowboy hat and boots would be a standard for the dress standard at this location.
There was a greeter at the front door with bar to the right upon entry and seating areas to the left upon entry and a family room to the rear of the bar area where we were eventually seated. Our server was prompt and friendly. Are salads arrived quickly and appeared okay and where as we ordered. The meals soon followed. My spouse order the salmon and I ordered the smoked sirloin. My spouse indicated that her entree was very good which included the salad, spinach, and the corn on the cob. I thought the medium well I ordered would not be so dry, since most restaurants I eaten it's not. I don't prefer it bloody either. This meat selection arrived pretty chared and had grill marks on the meat. There was a hint of the smoke in the meat but there was also a large amount of fat as you see in the picture that I had to remove since I don't enjoy the fat. This apparent slice of meat was precut into pieces and not whole as I had expected. It was not that visually appealing to me and lacked the signature smoke ring in the meat when I checked it. This meat selection was a 2.5 star out of 5 star entree. This beef sirloin steak just struck me as a cheap cut of beef. The rest of the meal was just standard. I did have to use the restroom while I was there and it was clean and orderly without any offensive odors. I am not a school trained chef, but I am the offspring of restaurant owners where I was a kitchen cook, server, host, and bar back. This restaurant was just okay.
This restaurant seems to offer some decent aspects, but there are other restaurants that would offer more to the customers...

Oh how I wanted a steak but so full from last few meals. I did choose the Ribs & Chicken and it was still a lot of food! My colleagues both chose the Filet- have to admit if I were hungry I would have choose that!
Overall - great place to dine! Highly recommend!
What a fantastic meal! To complete my business trip my colleague suggested this place since he had been here previously. He wasn’t wrong the food was extraordinary!
To be totally honest we had been driving all day before arriving here and the appetizers slipped our minds. We were just focused on eating a good dinner!
Our server (Nicky) was great, she checked in several times during the course of our meal.
We received the complimentary bread & butter to start out with and was a nice slightly crisp outer with pillowy inside!
The side salad was better than I expected, as a blue cheese fan you never know how that will be. This one was incredible with good size chunks of blue cheese!
My entree was the Flaming Tenderloin, a 9oz piece of perfection! Perfectly cooked and seasoned it was well worth the price! A baked potato accompanied the meal, but what I really liked was that the server was there to dress your potato the way you like. She had sour cream, bacon, cheese and you merely told her how much & what you wanted!
I would highly recommend trying this place out. Now it was rather on the noisy due to a packed restaurant but I wouldn’t let deter you from trying! The western theme decor added to the whole dining experience and I could definitely see myself...
