BEWARE!!! Looking back there were a few red flags with this place. Boy I wish Iâd paid attentionâŚnothing good has ever come out of ignoring my intuition. First, I purchased 2 leather chairs ($$$$) from this shop back in June. They told me they had a wonderful delivery guy they used so I said great. Well itâs now January and still no word on these chairs. Back in December the delivery guy told me one of the legs had broken and it was being fixedâŚ(Really?! Thatâs great... âwho knows what kind of condition theyâre in now)âŚand that the chairs would be delivered before Christmas. Well that didnât happen. So I contacted store to tell them the situation and that I wanted a refund on these chairs but theyâve informed me itâs my problem now that the delivery guy has them. Hereâs the ownerâs response via text; âas I explained to you before, the transaction is between you and the courier service. He is not employed by us or affiliated in any way with us. so actually YOU & he can âfigure it out!â Listen to the other negative reviews. Their customer service is terrible. Is this how you want to be treated after spending a few thousand or even a couple hundred with a company?! I bet not. I should have known when she was bad mouthing one of her clients who was using her to help furnish her home in Wyoming or somewhere like that; saying that this client was super needy or and wanted her to be more hands on⌠Iâll bet. You are not an honest and caring individual and I wouldnât let you into my home to save my life. Seriously! Second time (before trouble with chairs) I purchased (several hundred $ worth) some other things in September and had them shipped. They told me they werenât responsible for any damages during shippingâŚthat should have been a huge red flag. After I wrote down my shipping address they shipped it to the wrong house. đŹ Fortunately the homeowners were honest and contacted the store otherwise Iâm sure the owner wouldâve told me that was my problem. Well one of the vases was broken but since it wasnât t expensive I shrugged it off. Seriously, before you shop here thinkâŚitâs a flip of the coin youâll receive your product(s) whether shipping or having them delivered. They are living in the dark ages regarding customer service and I canât believe theyâre still in business. Will NEVER AGAIN order/purchase another thing from here.    Read moreI have spent all of my life visiting this town due to visiting family and I can honestly say that I have NEVER had a bad experience in any shop...until now! On my last trip, I visited this store for the first time and will certainly say that I never got the "warm and fuzzys" from anyone here! I made a purchase from their clearance room because it was something I had been looking for for quite some time. I purchased 5 brushed nickel soap dispensers @ $5 each(2 were in packages and the rest were not). I returned home and went to fill them up and only 2 of them worked! I messed with them forever to no avail and finally broke down and called the store. I spoke to Holly and she proceeded to tell me in no uncertain terms.."too bad,so sad". She said " well they were in the clearance and that's why they were $3,which is WAY less than what I paid for them." I said"no, I actually paid $5 each but that's not the point,I wouldn't have bought them at all if they didn't work". She went on to tell me that they were new in packages so she couldn't have known. After explaining that they weren't ,she then said" oh, we used those for display but regardless..it was WAY less than what I paid for them!" The end result was her offering to sell me three more @ $5 each(not the $3 from before..lol) and then ship them to me at my expense!! What a JOKE!! I literally would've accepted an apology and an offer for at least a small discount to replace them, but that certainly wasn't happening!! I will NEVER shop here again. I sure hope this store starts to implement some Fredericksburg...
   Read moreI just walked around this store, and had the weirdest experience. One of the shopkeepers followed me around, asked me not to take pictures (I wasnât? And wasnât planning on it? I was holding my phone in my hand because I was expecting a phone call, but never held it up like I was taking pictures?), but whatever, I read some of the other reviews - looks like theyâve had issues with people taking pictures in their store without permission - so, fair enough. Iâm just a mom that was killing time before picking her son up from pre-school, wanting to look around, maybe buy something for someone for Christmas. I was taking my time, trying to enjoy myself, looking at everything (the store is large). However, she followed me around like I was doing something wrong, and then when she asked if I needed help, and I said no, she stared at me and got huffy and slammed a door? Super weird. Bad vibes. Would not recommend. Will not go back.
Also, whoever typically responds to these reviews, save your snarky, unprofessional response and shove it where the sun...
