Attending GUCL for me was a highest point of the decade. It was hard but also very rewarding. It made me realized my calling - to be an attorney and my willingness to work toward my goal with all my energy. I was a single mother of 4 year old boy and a recent immigrant from Russia when I enrolled into Glendale University College of Law. I also ran my business and was very busy with work. Few people believed that I could do it but with Dean Kimberly's belief in me and Dean Darrin's guidance, and also incredible teaching of our amazing professors, I was able to complete the program and pass the CA Bar exam. 64% of my class passed the state bar from the first attempt, and all of us passed within a year from graduation. It is very rare when law school gives you so much confidence and skills that the bar exam is that attainable. Going to GUCL was the best life decision I ever made. As a non-traditional student, it fit within my work schedule and the affordability allowed me to graduate without ANY law school debt. I have been a practicing attorney for many years now and am able to pass on those savings to my clients. Because the professors are working Judges and Attorneys, I had job offers before I even graduated! Law school is not easy, but everyone at GUCL treats you like family and are supportive. Glendale University College of Law (GUCL) is a great school for anyone looking to attend law school. I was a member of the 2020 graduating class and would definitely recommend GUCL to anyone looking for a JD. I was able to work during the day, attend school at night and stay caught up with work over the week and weekend. The small atmosphere of the school makes it great place to get an education and everyone treats you like family. The faculty (professors and administrative staff) are very friendly and open and willing to help with anything.
