The "Quality" Inn review We asked for 2x queen rooms and 1 double, got 3 doubles (which made it impossible for the married couple to sleep in the same bed due to the space limitations on 1 side of both mattresses, see pics) No facial tissues in our room. "Healthy" breakfast consisted of make your own mini waffles (golden malted brand- but the batter was too thin, making the waffles wanting to fall apart and soggy. I've had this brand many times in the past and have never encountered such issues with the batter), cereal, and more carbs. The only source of protein was peanut butter and yogurt (both containing sugar- aka not diabetic friendly!) We had a problem with 1 of our guests (who is disabled) needing to have accommodations- we had asked for a handicapped room when we booked - she wanted to change to the handicapped room we thought we had booked or cancel the 2nd night, however when we called down to the front desk they claimed that we made the reservation thru a 3rd party app- even though we booked directly through the hotel. (They claimed that we couldn't cancel due to using a 3rd party app, which we didn't use.) Also there are permanent residents in the hotel, 1 of which is on the 3rd floor directly above 1 of our rooms. The hotel knowingly put us below a permanent resident with 2 huskies. There is no way the hotel is 100% booked, so why should the hotel put guests below a permanent resident with huskies? Especially since we are paying over $133/room/night?! The Doubletree 2 blocks away is charging only $20 more per night, and they would be considerate enough not to do such things. Ultimately we will not patronize this establishment again. I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU DO NOT STAY HERE! The only positive thing about this hotel is that it is within walking distance to several good breakfast places, however if the hotel is advertising a 'healthy breakfast' that shouldn't be needed.

This place wasn't terrible for the price. And the cleaning staff know how to make very pretty little decorations with the tissues and wash cloths! The maintenance man was a hoot! We had a fun little chat with him as he replaced the mini fridge in our room. The one that was there when we got there was not working and had rotten ice cream in it. The carpet had not been thoroughly vacuumed, and had bits all over, and what we thought was a dead cricket. He was only mostly dead. Wriggling still as I took his picture! Front desk staff was friendly, and did get maintenance to replace the smelly smelly fridge. The breakfast might have been nice, had there been choices besides cold cereal in dispensers. Those dispensers give me a sad, rejected, not even remotely fresh impression of cereal. They had fruit juice and coffee and packaged muffins. Yay. It looked as though they put out a warm spread sometimes, as the hardware was there. And they may typically have something to toast, as there was a toaster. But not when I went down. The culprit may have been the work crew sitting there having breakfast. Between them looked to be a loaf of bread, toasted and piled high. The Marijuana smell is a very real thing. There were burn marks on the arm of the chair and the nightstand top. We slept on top of the bed as we didn't trust the sheets. The RBS (reddish brown stains if you watch true crime) on the wall behind the lamp provided much entertainment and speculation. But the humidity from the pool!!! OMG the toilet sweated all night. Almost as much as we did thinking about those sheets! But in the morning, wet, slick bathroom floor. They need anti humidity something for the rooms ringing the pool. The humidity makes for breeding grounds for all manner of things... and nobody wants a sweaty toilet! BUT DID WE DIE?! No. For the money, it was a room. The staff were mostly VERY pleasant.

This was cheaper ($135 for one night) but still felt overpriced when we got there. The check in person was unfriendly and borderline rude. Then getting to our room there was cleaning carts and staff everywhere blocking hallways (and this was at 5pm), then the quality of our room was pathetic. The curtain, (because one was missing so we only had the one) was ripped and torn. The window did not shut properly enough to lock or block street noise. The carpet was stained, which was the least of the issues but I added a picture anyway. The comforter on the bed had a hole in it, but not just a hole, it looked like someone had cut out a chunk because the edges and stuffing inside was cut very straight. The towels and pillows were set out neatly and the pillows were comfortable. The mini fridge was a nice touch but it had a constant tick all night that put the best clocks to shame. Breakfast the next morning required you to present a ticket to eat, but no staff was around so no ticket needed I guess. Then while looking at the food choices, cleaning staff came in and cut through the line of guests to make themselves coffee. Not far behind them was, what I can only assume, a kitchen manager, who proceeded to cut through to make herself a plate. Then a cook came out of the kitchen used her hand to press down the trash in the garbage can and then went to the food area to refill coffee and gravy. She took her time to also check all food levels. I am thankful to have had a place to stay but I definitely will not return to this establishment. They have lost my business without a doubt.

I was really looking forward to my stay in the suite, but it turned out to be the absolute worst hotel experience of my life. At first I was given the wrong room. The front desk employee at time of check in (Monday July 1st) was the highlight of the entire stay. She was kind and helpful, and apologized and made it right by fixing the issue! The whole hotel was dirty (debris all over the carpets, trash cans filled past the brim) and smelled stale, like no one had vaccumed the hallways in weeks. This remained consistent until check out. Upon entering the room, all the lights except the tub spotlights were off and it was difficult to determine which switches went to which lights. Eventually I settled in, and began to run the bath in the jetted tub. The plug is broken, so a small silicone stopper was sitting next to the tub. The jets were so loud, I could only stand them on for about 3 minutes before my brain began to rattle. The worst part of this experience was the "customer service" I received when preparing for bed. I could not for the life of me figure out how to turn the tub spotlights off. My first call to the front desk for help was at 1030pm and was told she would be up shortly to look. One hour later, I called back and was greeted by a different person. She was rude, condescending, and hung up on me twice. I was told nobody knew how to turn the lights off (how can you not know how the electrics work in the hotel you single handedly run through the night?) And that no one was allowed to enter the room. My last phone call to the front desk was around midnight. I told her I was going to climb on a chair and take the bulbs out and she said "okay fine" and hung up. Apparently there is no staff at night besides one person at the desk and they don't have any ladders or safe things for me to climb on, which I find ridiculous and a safety issue. After discovering that the bulbs don't actually come out, i unplugged every single thing and switched every single switch in the entire suite. During this I found multiple empty alcohol shooter bottles behind furniture and behind the televisions. Disgusting, does anyone clean these rooms? For all employees at the Quality Inn in Greeley CO.....the way to turn off the spotlights above the tub is the old and broken jet timer dial.....unbelievable. this was just an awful...

I have been on a travel assignment with my nursing agency I have booked and stayed at multiple choice hotels all week. Priceline recommended this hotel so I booked Friday. Had zero issues with the manager checking in. Saturday morning around 6 am came downstairs for coffee, spoke to front desk about holding my room for 2 nights so I could book the room till Monday. Booked room for 2 nights came back down at 11:00 and got to meet Shanice the apparent manager. She stated I need to put a card on file for incidentals? Even though that wasn't required at my initial check in. I asked her to call her manager. She did and her manager told her it was fine. Went about my day. Worked 16 hours came back Sunday to my room. At 10:45 I get a call stating "do you have a dog?' I said yes again Shaniece informs me I need to pay $50.00 so I go down stairs. I show them the choice hotels policy that states it is $25 per dog per stay. She says no it's $25 everyday. We go round and round I call choice hotels customer service and they stated the same. I told her again I am there for work I have to be at work again at 2. Between her and the teenager wearing a undershirt to work they won't listen. So it escalates to the point Shaniece says she is calling the cops if I don't leave. I told her to do that. They show up. In the mean time another couple comes to checkin with there dog and states the person on the phone told them it's $25 per stay for their 3 days and Shaniece once again states it's $25 per day. The police show up. Shaniece has decided to have me trespass warned. I left with my dog and my husband. I had my dog all weekend in and out. Not one person said anything to me except Shaniece. I have never been so disrespected as a healthcare worker than by this lady. With all the things going on in this hotel she homes in on me starting Saturday for no reason. She kicked me out refused my refund for the whole night, and had me trespassed warned, for being a nurse coming from Texas to help people in Colorado out. My rights were violated and it will be handled....

Run away!!!! Fast!!!!! We attended a family wedding in Greeley, and this was one of the hotels where a block of rooms was reserved. About 30 family members stayed at the Clarion, and here is an overview of some of the troubles that were experienced. BTW, the room rate was around one hundred dollars per night, yet the service and room conditions were at the level of a very cheap motel, at best. Here goes: 1) No hot water for showers in the mornings. Hot water was available in the afternoons-- they just don't have enough hot water to service all their rooms. 2) Another guest's belongings plus a maintenance crew person was in a room when entering assigned room for the first time. 3) Being warned by other guests not to eat in the restaurant because it is "sketchy." 4) The pool being green in color and unusable 5) The elevator being broken, so an elderly couple in the family could not get to their room without having to climb lots of stairs 6) No towels were ever exchanged or beds were ever made - once you are in a room, you are on your own. 7) Coffee cups that were asked for for two days were never brought 8) No continental breakfast was anywhere to be found 9) I called and reserved a baby pack 'n play crib with my reservation, then when I called back a week later to confirm it I was told they do not even own any. 10) A broken mirror and other broken furniture in the rooms - the rooms were apparently renovated just a few years ago but are already in a state of disrepair. 11) Missing coffee pots and microwaves in some of the rooms 12) I was never sent any kind of email or other type of confirmation information so I did not have any proof of my reservation. Note: some family members were able to get one night of their stay comped by a manager because of all the troubles they experienced. Definitely find another place to stay in Greeley! The family members who stayed at The Sodbuster Inn Bed and Breakfast, and at the Holiday Inn Express had MUCH better...
