Totally cool atmosphere! A great eclectic selection of books in every corner. You could spend hours browsing here and go home with a bundle of books to keep you busy. Be sure to pop in at the back and say hi to Kevin the snake. The bannned books display really drives home the threat that are libraries and public institutions face. I left with a couple of travel books and a new book on learning French – – wish me luck!

My favorite downtown stop! 10/10 recommend even just to tour. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. There are oddities throughout the bookstore, a usable record player, cozy nooks to read in, adorable 3D printed creatures, and the cutest snake named Kevin. The variety of selections are always a wonderful surprise- I leave with a book every time I step foot in here. Definitely check it out!

The Midnight Oil is amazing spot in downtown Greeley. The book selection is diverse and well organized. Both employees I met when I stopped by two months ago were friendly and genuinely helpful. Their customer service combined with the cozy atmosphere made this one of the best bookstores I’ve checked out in awhile!

I moved to Greeley just over a year ago. My first time in this neat little bookstore was their Golden Ticket event around that time. I found quite a few great books then. Pablo, was great and very personable then. I went back a couple times after that as well, again finding great reads! Today, I came in I had won a gift certificate from an Easter egg hunt at the Harley Dealership. AWESOME! Walked in, browsed around, not looking for anything in particular…. Walked out with an armload of books! I literally could spend hours in this neat little store. And Pablo, he is always friendly and very helpful! I will always definitely shop here first when...

I'll tell you what !! The Midnight Oil book store Is unlike any bookstore around nowadays conveniently located right next to where Woody's Book Store was Downtown Greeley. The Midnight Oil in my words is sociable, folksy, tranquil and a little mysterious. Each section of the book store offers BOOKS (on top of books) and MORE in it's own unique calm way. With a little theater area for the kids and little study areas through out will have you memorized . ALL walks of life are welcomed! Employees are knowledgeable friendly and will have you on your way-way...

Midnight Oil Bookstore is an absolute gem in our community! They have an excellent selection of used and new books in all different kinds of genres. The used books are always in great condition and the store is well organized, cozy and welcoming! They’ll also order books if you can’t find them in stock (let’s support our local businesses!) and have a quick turnaround. The best part is the community-minded owner, Pablo and his team! I’m so glad we have a local bookstore in town!...
