The Schiller House — Hotel in Hermann

My husband and I stayed in the Garden Cottage for a mini honeymoon! We loved the space as it was very clean, modern, and the bed was SO COMFY. We loved it so much we want to get the same one for our own room eventually. Hannah was a very attentive host, there were some lovely flowers and snacks waiting for us at our arrival and when a storm rolled through the area she texted us to make sure we were safe and offered to let us take shelter at a different properties basement! We also loved that she included a list of restaurants and attractions that were open during our stay in the email she sent prior to our arrival. The location of the property was great as well as we were able to walk to many shops, restaurants and even the river from the cottage. My Fiancé and I stayed in the Garden Cottage, the secondary stand-alone home of the Schiller House, and it was beautiful! Well stocked kitchenette with a minifridge, microwave, plates/silverware, and a Keurig. There is a back, private patio for the Garden Cottage behind the Schiller house with a fire pit and chairs to relax in. The Wi-Fi was a little slow, but useable, and the bed frame makes a lot of noise if you stand up or roll over so it it will wake up a light-sleeping partner. The bell of the school house next-door chimes on the hour, every hour, but its actually really nice to listen to. I heard it when I was awake but slept through it at night. We had the bride and bridesmaids stay at the Schiller House for the Bachelorette Party and then the other party guests at their sister property - Vinchester Inn. This was a perfect set up! Everything was in walking distance and the Vinchester Inn had a complimentary private space for brunch one morning. The Schiller House was clean and communication was clear and concise. The owners checked in occasionally which was nice, but not overwhelming! We felt comfortable immediately walking through the door. The house had so much charm, it was exactly what we wanted. We had the best time in Hermann and the bride had a memorial weekend with the girls. I will be back and highly recommend you...
