What a wonderful stay! My cousin has been staying here and said it was a great place and arranged a couple of rooms for us and he was so right! The only bad thing about staying here is leaving here! :)||Pulling into the garage, there were plenty of parking spaces. The lobby is beautiful, clean and fresh looking. Our room had a king sized bed and had pretty much everything amenity, including the standards: safe, coffee maker, fridge, etc....BUT, the coffee maker is a Nespresso....so much better than a Keurig! The soaps, lotions, etc., are all high end. The bed linens are very luxurious and the comforter is almost too good! AC is relatively quiet and did not disturb our sleep. We were on the second floor and the everything was very quiet. Large screen tv with plenty of channels. There was even a tablet (which we didn't use). All this was great.....when I turned on the faucet in the bathroom it seemed like it was a little weak, which didn't give me high hopes for the shower, especially because I've never stayed in a hotel in Southern California and had a great shower.....until now. The pressure was phenomenal! My kids had a double and their room was similar. There is a very nice outdoor space where we had breakfast. Our view was nothing to look at, but honestly, there is no reason to spend the day in the room. There is so much to do. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had yogurt, bars, fruit, cereal, coffee, etc. Nothing hot, but enough to get you going.||Easy walking distance to so much, include steps to the beach....and we felt very safe. The only thing that I will mention, and this is not against the hotel, but what we noticed as we walked around, the smell of weed was everywhere, so be ready....interestingly, we did NOT smell it in the hotel, but when you walk around the shops, etc., it was pretty obvious. That is more a reflection of the times I guess, as we smelled it almost everywhere. ||We found our new favorite place and we can't...
Read moreI cant say enough good things about H2O Hermosa. Our stay was superb, the room was clean, the hotel was quiet and new throughout, and the staff was as friendly as can be. The location couldn't be better to walk to restaurants and the beach. Even their parking was safe, monitored and reasonably priced compared to others in the area. I was already planning on writing a stellar review, though now I have an even bigger reason to. A whole month later, I realize I'm missing a valuable that was possibly left behind at H2O Hermosa. I called and spoke with Natalia who exclaimed yes they have it and have been waiting for my call! Not only did she and her team bend over backwards to get my item back promptly, but they were also incredibly reliable with timing. Based on both our great stay and how trustworthy and reliable they were, I'd recommend anyone to stay at...
Read moreWe have lived off and on in the Beach Cities over the decades, and when not living here we visit often and have stayed in all the area hotels. This trip we decided to try H2O Hermosa as it is the newest hotel in the area and just a block from the sand. Property is beautiful and modern with generously sized rooms with decks. If you want to easily walk to the Hermosa Pier and it’s surrounding bars/restaurants then this a wonderful location. Despite being right on Hermosa Ave, the noise level was negligible and even more quiet than the nearby hotel located directly on The Strand…though there is a trade off between ocean view and noise in that regard. Parking here is not ideal because it is tandem, due to lack of space, so not exactly sure how convenient that would be when the property is full, but that’s my...
