To be a medical facility with a PT center on the second floor, one would think there would be adequate handicap parking and accessibility into the building. Not so. There are two spaces on the far end of the building for handicap parking and a ramp, but certainly not close to the entrance. The doors coming into the building are not automatically opening doors so if you are one person trying to push a wheelchair into the building, it will be challenging. While trying to navigate two sets of doors to get into the clinic, you will have to figure out how to protect the patient, open the door, hold the door, and safely push the wheelchair inside. Once you’ve made it passed the first set of doors you are rewarded with the privilege of doing it a second time to finally get into the check-in area of the clinic. It is no small feat. Trust me. When I politely mentioned this to the attendant she never acknowledged my criticism. She never said, “I’m sorry for your trouble. I will pass this along to my supervisor.” It was like she was ill-equipped to handle a complaint or criticism so she just did not say anything. To me, that’s rude or at a minimum very poor customer service. I would have given a one start review based on the handicap parking situation and difficulty in getting a wheelchair through the doors, but the staff was pleasant. Hence, the two star review.

I haven’t been to the Hiram location since April 2024. Today 8/29/2024 I receive a notice from my bank that a charge of .38 cents was declined. Thank GOD I always lock my card. Call my bank and ask them was it only $.38 because I went to my insurance portal online and my balance due is $25.87. She said no just $.38. She said you have to be careful because they see what amount they can get, and if it goes through they will try a much larger amount. So my bank canceled the card and sending me a new card. Went to the location in Hiram where I was seen, today waited 6 min front desk still didn’t come back. Called kept trying to send me to online. I’m done. Be very careful with your debit and credit cards at this place. I wouldn’t trust them. I never authorized them for any other amount other than my copay back in April. Please see photo attached.

There were no people left in the waiting room. I had people who came after me, leave before me. I have came before when there was a lady doctor and she was good and efficient. I am not sure who was there today, but it was an horrible experience and felt like I was in a dirty room. Do better!

I came in this morning with burning in my chest, a sore throat and I have been coughing up green phlegm. As a 51 year old Engineer I know my body, I am very capable of researching known treatments for ailments and I just pay attention to past treatments that have worked for me and the vast majority of civilization.Also, after 51 years on this planet, I have a considerable amount of wisdom. For exmaple, a text book indicator of infection is green phlegm and burning in the lungs. Ever since I have been alive doctors have ALWAYS given me either a Zpac or prednisone and Amox- Clav for these symptoms BECAUSE THEY WORK!! Not this place. I had a young, arrogant, inexperienced PA who looked like he just got out of school. His name is PA Doan Thuk, and he condescendingly talked down to me about how antibiotics are over prescribed, which I already knew. What he failed to realize is that antibiotics are also still very necessary for lung, throat and sinus infections because if you do not treat them they can become life-threatning. If you do not have an infection, antibiotics are not necessary but they are very necessary if you DO have an infection! He refused to give me anything! I already informed him that I have been taking echinacea tea, D3, Zinc, Vitamin C and Quercetin at home but he dismissively told me to use a netty pot and my albutirol inhaler and if it got worse come back in a coupoe of days. So, basically instead of doing what every other doctor I have ever seen has done for 51 years, which is getting ahead of the severe infection by actually treating it with medication , he wants me to wait until I get full blown pneumonia and miss work. This is a prime example of how our medical system is failing and broken. Not only did I waste money and time coming here, but now I am also at risk of developing pneumonia or at the very least my infection getting extremely worse. . I informed him that I know what bronchitis feels like, what treatment works for me and the vast majority of patients in the world, but he acted dismissive and arrogantly. So, I stood up, told him thanks for nothing and walked out. Oh, and if I go to another clinic today my insurance will not cover it because I have already went to this one!!! Thank for nothing !! I also found out that there are no doctors on site!! Is that even legal? All PA's and NP's are supposed to run their treatment plan by a doctor AND get acceptance of said treatment plan from the doctor BEFORE implementing said treatment plan. If I get pneumonia isn't he and this clinic liable? Hmmmm? The hubris of some people in the medical field amazes me and the new breed of doctors, PA's, NP's coming out of the big pharma sponsored, sub par medical schools of today are frightening. DO NOT go here. It is a waste of time and they might even kill you by refusing you...

GO TO WELLSTAR URGENT CARE! The first time I went to Peachtree urgent care was in 2016. Paid my deductible at the counter, I was seen and they billed my insurance. Two months later I got a bill for over $300 because Peachtree billed my doctors visit to my insurance company as an “out of network primary doctor visit” instead of an “urgent care visit”. To try and scam more money from them. I ended up calling them dozens of times to correct it.

They admitted their mistake, and STILL sent the remainder of the bill to collections AFTER I paid my deductible at the counter and my insurance company paid them for an “urgent care visit”. I went back in 2022 and STILL had a balance which I put $100 on JUST TO BE SEEN.

Then yesterday I went there a third time. Almost 10 years later and would not see me unless I paid them money for a doctor visit and treatment I DID NOT RECEIVE. I called the billing department and for the third time and almost 10 years was told by a supervisor it was a mistake they made. I should not have been billed for a primary care doctor visit out of network. I should have only been billed for an urgent care however, I STILL owe the money Because they can’t correct it.

They acknowledged I did NOT received the treatment I was billed for they Acknowledged that I paid the deductible at the counter they acknowledge they billed my insurance and received money and they acknowledge that I gave them $100 just to get seen two years earlier.

I asked the guy hey, so did I pay you at the counter in 2016? Yes, did you get the sum of an “urgent care visit” from my insurance company? Yes, did I give you $100, 3 years ago for a bill I shouldn’t have been sent? Yes… THEN WHAT DID YOU SEND TO COLLECTIONS AND WHY CANT I BE SEEN TODAY? His response was ludicrous. “You have to pay it, sir because that’s what it says you have to pay”

They are crooks!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE

I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with the billing department until I finally told the guy on the phone well I guess you don’t want my business today. I will go somewhere else and hung up.

I went across the street to Wellstar urgent. I was checked in, seen AND treated in less time than I was on the phone with peach tree billing! In and out in 30 minutes

I am so Unhappy with the Services here. When I came in the Door it was Old, Cold and not Clean. But I needed to be seen so I Waited. My right ear need to be iregated bc I had a Wax impactment. I Couldn't hear out my ear at all! I was a Self pay. I was Charged $175 at the door. When I finally got back to see the NP Merdith Keeley. We waited in the room for about 40mins. The room was so Outdated! She Finally Came in. She looked in my ear and let me know I had a Bad wax impactment and I had to get my ears flushed. I knew I did and that was the reason I was there. Then her Assistant came to do my ear. I told both of them to please use warm water bc cold water make me feel like I am going to faint. And the Assistant used Cold water! She iregated my ear for about 5 mins and then she said she got all the wax out. I knew she didn't bc I still Couldn't hear out of my ear at all. Then the NP Finally came back in 40mins later and looked in my ear. I told her I still Couldn't hear. Then she said I had puss in my ear and it was very infected. She let me know I had a ear infection And my ear drum was really inflamed. She also let me know there was still Wax in my ear and that what was causing me not to hear. She Said she didn't want to do anymore Iregating on my ear bc of it. Which was not true at all.

She wrote out 2 prescriptions and told me to take it for a week and it should clear up. I feel like she was Rushing me Out. I woke up the next day I Couldn't stand Not being able to hear! So me and my hubby decided to go to another Urgent care for a 2nd Opinion.

I had to pay them $210 I didn't care when you Can't hear you will pay Anything to get your hearing back again! They done a excellent job and got all the wax out. The Dr. Let me know I Didn't have a Ear infection or any puss. SHE took good care of me. I am Able to Hear Now!!!
