Kuhio Village Rentals — Hotel in Honolulu

No guest parking. Terrible recipient. Its listed price is not all the cost. There is additional service fee. After all that, it's not cheap at all. Also no room service. My cousin came visit us from Japan. Unfortunately she booked this place for the lower advertised price, without knowing the additional service fee. Then we went to meet up with her, and told by the front desk it's fine to park in the parking lot, only to find out our car got towed when we came out. Then the front desk denied they told us that, and refused to offer any help whatsoever. I won't go near this place even to meet a visiting friend, let alone staying here. And now the owner just replying back to all negative review staying it's not their guest, without any remorse of what went wrong, showing absolutely no intend of improving. Rented through AirBnB. I absolutely loved this place! It has a beautiful view and balcony to go relax, tan, or eat. The place was perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. The bathroom was beautiful. Well equipped with things. The TV was a smart TV so I was able to stream from my phone Hulu, Netflix, Amazon prime but I’m not sure channels actually work. It kept saying no signal. The trash chute has certain hrs to throw away trash so make sure you pay attention to that. Check-in could of been a little better. I got there around 7pm I couldn’t find anybody at the desk or ‘security desk’. I walked around looking for lockbox and couldn’t find. After about 10mins I found the security guy and he took my ID and vaccine card and showed where lockboxes were. After that no problems. It’s secure in the building because you can’t even get on the elevator without a fob. A lot of places around to eat or buy things....

Chris was the guy on Air B-B and Keoki was the manager that agreed, when we went back to the room that in fact it DID smell like tons of bleach covering up a Mildew smell. I asked Keoki what was mildew? as the floors are tile, "Air conditioner" Keoki replied. I spoke to both of them and Chris said he will refund the 7 day stay I just had to click on CANCELATION on my side of the Air-B-B app. Well Chris DID NOT KEEP his word.

So disappointed. Although most rooms may be remodels, chances are the air conditioner is very OLD and has mildew. Windows are old and not air tight.

NO PRIVACY the building next door is able to see right into your room, and definitely the balcony.
