I tried to reach the front office, but no response so hopefully this will work. SUMMER CAMP 2025 I wanted to bring to your attention how disappointing and concerning it is to learn that the vehicles used for summer field trips, specifically the white van does not have functioning air conditioning in 90 degree Texas heat. The children are being transported in extremely hot conditions, which is not only uncomfortable but potentially unsafe. My son came home from a field trip feeling unwell, and he ended up throwing up soon after picking him up inside my car. Then he ended up telling me he had felt very hot during the ride to the Farm and still wasn’t feeling well, which led to him missing the program that day. I have multiple children and they mentioned this same concern to me. I did find other summer care arrangements for my children, but I wanted to make sure that this issue is being fixed because the other children are getting possibly sick from extreme heat conditions. As a parent, it’s upsetting to know that discomfort and illness may have been caused by something preventable. I truly hope this can be addressed moving forward for the well-being of...
Read moreOver a year ago my husband and I made the best decision for our son. Our son is an only child, who was used to just watching tv, playing videos games all day before and after school. Our son also has autism, ADHD and struggle a lot with his controlling his anger. When he joined Millennium it was something completely different, but has changed his life drastically! They have taught him respect and how to control himself. He has been doing the after school program (which is amazing because I work until 5pm!), he has done regular class, even sparring on Fridays! This year will also be his second year in summer camp which I love because his dad and I work full time jobs Mon-Fri. And with the summer camp he is able to be taken to different field trips, movies, do outdoor activities . Our son loves coming to martial Arts to the point that he jumps to multiple class in the same day. He has improved in his Autism, ADHD and behavior and we will forever be grateful for the Millennium family. Best...
Read moreI've been going to Millennium Martial Arts since 2011. I did Tae Kwon Do until I was 6 months pregnant (2012.) I took a 4 year break to raise a family and in the Summer of 2017 my daughter joined me in Tae Kwon Do and we've been coming ever since. Even when they switched locations in 2013 we followed them. They treat you like family and make you feel welcomed. There are classes here for the whole family. My hubby started training in 2018 and my 3 year old will start soon. They are very patient with everyone especially beginners and help you achieve your goals. My daughter has made lots of friends and has learned self defense and has improved her self discipline. Most of the time she doesn't want to leave because she enjoys hanging out in the dojo with her friends. If you're looking for a great way to lose weight while having fun, kickboxing is the class to take! I like being committed to a class time instead of trying to make time...
