I’m a Mexican from the southeast area and I’m super excited that I don’t have to travel all the way to Hillcroft Ave “SW” to get Middle Eastern food. I don’t leave reviews but I had to on this one cause the food was on point and better than I expected. They need to get the Recognition so they can stay in the area because Hillcroft is a lil distance once a week. It’s super fresh and will not give you food that’s been sitting around. The Salad they give with the plates is “mane hold up” delicious, healthy feeling and different. The place is nice & clean. I got the chicken with rice a couple times, one time they ran out of chicken so I got the lamb and he hooked it up with a big a$$ chunk and some bone in steak/chops for the inconvenience. Next day I came for the mixed grill platter and it was major, it’s not cooked over charcoal but it’s still on point. Another thing I love is they have one of my favorite sodas “vimto” and you know us Mexicans love sodas. I tried the Turkish coffee cause I like strong coffee, it’s different but it was good. If you haven’t tried Arabic food just try the shawarma wrap first, I haven’t tried it from here yet but by the other food tried, I know it has to be as good. I’m gonna go tomorrow to get a couple. This is healthy food with no grease, they use real authentic Olive oil. I got all my family & friends on...
Read moreSmall Spot. Big Flavor. Huge Portions. I got the Falafel to try it the small is giant @6 huge falafel easily double to triple some spots in the area. The I'm guessing owner suggested i help myself to some tea and I'm glad i did. I also ordered the mixed grill for 1 with rice and hummus(normally salad but the lady nicely changed it for me) The mixed grill consisted of Rice(so good) 2 kafta kebab chicken kebab and beef/steak? Kebab. The kafta was good. The chicken was great and the steak honestly surprised me as I normally don't like it oh and grilled tomatoes. The hummus was also very good and the naan was a good as well. It was unfortunately a little warm in there while i was there but I don't hold that against them at all and it wont be affecting my rating. They were actively working to fix it as I was leaving. Looking forward to...
Read moreThe food is delicious and the portions are very generous! We had leftovers, which will be great for lunch tomorrow. Our family is Mexican but we love Middle Eastern food. We had the beef kabob, chicken kabob, and falafel plates, which come with a fresh salad and rice. My parents especially enjoyed the salad, commenting on the delicious dressing. We shared some tasty hummus. We also tried the konafa and za’atar pie for the first time and it was really good. The staff is quite kind. We will be returning to try more dishes and encouraging others to support this wonderful restaurant. Well worth any waiting time as your food is...
