BreWingZ Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Houston

While on break ,, we decided to come here like every other Tuesday or Wednesday! Today just blew me !! We've never had a bad experience here ,, but TODAY we got it ! We tried to order margaritas ,, I didn't have my license on me ((but had a pic of it in my phone the server said she couldn't accept it ,, fine)) my friend tells her we are ready to order ,, she ignores her !! My boyfriend tries to order a margarita,, the server asked for his license! He gives it to her she takes it and was away for like 15 mins !! She then comes back ,, my friend say we're ready to order ((again)) she ignores her !! She tells us she'll be back they are trying to verify the license !! We asked ,, they must googled it or something it's taking forever she says yes !! The assistant manager then comes and say we can't accept this ! We ask why she said we can't accept it ,, it's from another state and corporate is here so we can't take it !!Remind you people from all over the world comes to texas !! I go on to say let me speak to your corporate people ! Instead of sending them to our table she sends the manager ! He go on to say we can't verify this license ,, we don't get these here often ! So I say so what you're telling me is that because we're from Mississippi you can't accept our license ??? In so many excuses he said yes !!! By now my appetite is spoiled !!! I don't care which way you look at it ,, it's discrimination!! Not only that they were trying to peel around the license !! My advice is if you're treated like you don't matter or just because they "think" you're too young GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !! Yes we will continue to eat at brewingz just not this one !!! IF YOURE FROM MISSISSIPPI LIKE US DO NOT COME TO THE BREWINGZ ON GULF FREEWAY !! && I still will be contacting...

This hopefully goes out to the CEO or atleast to the GM. Everytime I pass through this place it comes in mind the time I came with my boyfriend and we almost loose everything because of this. It was going to be my first time ever coming to Bre Wings and I was sooo excited to try them. Okay so we parked and walked in the restaurant, he had just gotten a new alarm so I didnt understand why the control was lighting up RIGHT when we enter the door. I ignored it and sat down, then I tod my bf, Hey your control was just lighting up. He looked at me and ran to the window to check on it. He saw a white truck just burnt out! We came out to check on and his door nobe was broken and his pannel under neath his stirring wheel was off place. You have no ide the feeling we got once we saw that they where acctually trying to take his WHOLE TRUCK. I have never seen that at a restaurant. We left ofcourse and just thought about going to ANY of the Bre Wings. If we had not gotten a new Alarm, Im not even kidding but 2 days ago. We would have lost at $40,000 worth truck. It had brand new rims and it was well taken care. Well enought of our truck issue. The issue Im most concerned of is the other people that don not know about this place. As I am waiting for my food at this very restaurant, I just walked in to a gentement with a broken window. Yea my SECOND time here someone gets f. Over. He lost car tools and $200 jacket and his door, plus the window. Do you think this is fair? We are just trying to enjoy dinner or lunch. You guys REALLY NEED A SECURITY. It is worth all this loss going around. I am 100% we are not the only ones that loose $1,000s on trying to compensate and fix...

I was not at all happy with the over all atmosphere of this restaurant. Firstly it was not very clean. The tables were wiped down, but not clean. Same with the chairs or booths. I tried ordering a Shiner in a bottle, no one was sure if they had any so they sent someone to the back to check. Due to the length of time it took to get an answer I decided to just get a Pepsi instead. We waited atleast 40 minutes for our food to be brought out to us ( it wasn't busy) we asked that our wings be extra wet, they were EXTRA DRY and had to be sent back to be corrected. I am not sure what is going on with the employees/ or possibly a mix of employees and friends hanging out , i couldnt really tell who was who... it seemed that they were paying more attention to whatever was going on in the kitchen, they would dissappear for quite a bit, clearly it wasn't to get orders out faster. The bathroom was disgusting, the restaurant was less than par, the food took FOREVER to come out ( I worked in a kitchen and I KNOW it doesn't take that long to make 6 tenders and an order of tater tots) there was a few waitresses bussing tables, trying to clean, and apologized for the mess up on our drinks and food. On the whole I would not go back here. The food was decent, but I would rather go to another wings place to have better service along with a cleaner more professional experience.
