savion was simply the best bartender iv seen in my 20 years of life , he went well above anything a regular bartender does, great conversation, recommendations, gets the drink but also gets u lil oranges and limes for your margaritas, the way he made was stunning, i make drinks my self and i could NEVER see my self matching his mixing skills, felt like another drink altogether, he ran the whole shift while chatting and going to law school on the side, while being there every day , u wont find people like this in houston and really defined the whole hotel and ambience....i will be coming back just to go to the bar in this hotel , hes always energetic and thinking of real hospitality and seeing the guests happy and enjoying the place

While initially parking inside their attached garage seemed complicated, I felt quite secure in that random people would not be able to access said garage. While I could not sleep in the bed I had booked due to unforeseen personal problems. The staff that I did interact with was cordial, very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk with. I spoke at length with two of the front desk associates who had only just worked at this location yet wore quality garments that you would see staff at Hyatt regency properties wearing. The night auditor Devin additionally was very understanding of my issues. I would totally stay here again if given the opportunity or need. Very lovely views even for a cityscape.

Everything was fantastic about our stay at Hyatt Place/House in Houston! Every bit of staff was well equipped to answer any questions and the food/bar was fine service. The drivers for the shuttle service were the most professional and considerate workers in the field of transportation. The gym was always clean and spot on. Clean towels, filtered water station, and free headphones for their guests. 10/10 bravo Hyatt Place & House.

Not worth the stress this place gives. We get here and check in at 5pm we were initially told check-in is at 3:00. We are told we have to wait 30 minutes for our room to be ready. We waited then nothing. We decided to go back up to the counter and are told, oh your not on the list to be contacted to check in what's your number and it'll take 30 mins... Another 30 mins. we had plans we needed to get ready for so we asked to use their restroom to get dressed. Two male employees were cleaning the women's restroom and they see me and say oh you can go in. I say no I'm changing and getting ready, finish what you are doing. So we stand there waiting for them to finish cleaning. The man then again says go ahead into the restroom. So my friend and I went in and they stood by the open door as we went to the stalls to get dressed. We could here their conversation with the open door. Which made it more uncomfortable. After finally getting our room key around 6pm we get up to our room and on the 10th floor and our key doesn't when. We get in the room after another trip down and back and it's not even the room we booked but are told sorry can't do anything. Once we got back from the concert(11pm). We asked multiple times for pillows and blankets to accommodate the guest in the room. Four people in a room with one queen sizes bed and a pull out mattress. We had booked a room with two queen beds but that didn't happen and then having to wait to go to bed because not enough blankets and pillows and being told over and over again just 15 minutes sheet waiting 15 minutes. This whole experience here has been a meh to say the least. I'm hoping...

Rooms=excellent layout, clean, well designed. 7th floor with pool access

Food= honestly, one of the best free breakfast I have ever had in a hotel at this level. The dining menu is limited but apparently they are revising through the holidays.

Bar= huge with lots of TV’s around the bar and eating area. The best part of that is that they weren’t blasting. And close captions on all of them.

Staff-very friendly and helpful

Housekeeping= Very good except for some reason they were piles of dirty towels and sheets in the hallway. I notice another person talked about that. I’ve never seen that before.

Things needing attention: -several floors didn’t have hot water. The water never got very warm. It was barely warm. We talked to people in the restaurant said that they never could get hot water. I told the front desk but it wasn’t fixed by the second night. -there is a really funky smell and all the hallways and by the elevators. It has sort of a sewer smell to it but once you get in your room it’s OK.. -this is picky, but the chairs are really really nice in the dining area, but they make so much noise when you pull them out from the table. It just takes a little felt slider to remedy that problem. -like other reviews, the elevators are really confusing. There is no signage to tell you that one elevator is different than the remaining elevators. -Like other reviews it is very difficult to figure out where you’re supposed to park and drop off your luggage and check in.

I think this is a really great hotel. It just needs a few tweaks. You definitely get value for your money and it is convenient if you are using the...

The Hotel is clean and nice. That is all. Unfortunately the service was horrible. It’s really bad, employees had no idea what is going on. Non of the information given matches with reality. The “restaurant” was supposed to be open at 2 pm, we showd up with kids , starving. After patianetly waited 3-5 min at the bar waiting on bar tender to finish arranging bottles we were advised restaurant will open at 4 pm. We had to extand our stay for one more night, this was done at reception. We were told all rooms were sold out but if we book through an app we can keep the same rook. Total nonsense. The the next day around noon our key cards were deactivated….. the expkanation was it is because there was a new reservation made. Obviously the rep who extended it did not do it correctly….. There was a shuttle every 10-15 min, good luck on this one. Waited for 25 minutes , nobodtmy showed up. No restaurants close by. You need to deal with hotel “restaurant” if open. To towels at the pool. Has to go downstairs to ket them know. Instead of apology for the inconvenience they are showing disrespectfull attitude acting like yiu are the one who doesnt know where to look for towels. They were supposed to be in a cabinets at the pool but someone forgot to to put them in. No drinks at the pool either, bar closed. Every question or concern you have to employees it takes forever to be resolved by them. Hey are making phone calls , asking …. Asked about late check out, we were told by 3 pm, 5 min later it was by 2 pm…. We ended up paying for...
