Schweppe Park — Attraction in Houston

We had a wonderful time exploring the park and admiring the scenery. The park was very clean and well-maintained. The fountain was especially impressive, as it sprayed water in different patterns and colors. The gazebo was cozy and inviting, perfect for having a picnic or reading a book. The playground was fun for kids of all ages, with swings, slides, and climbing structures. The walking trail was easy to follow and offered scenic views of the surrounding area.

The park also had a lot of wildlife activity. We saw many birds flying around the trees and perching on the branches. We also spotted some butterflies fluttering among the flowers. We even heard some frogs croaking from the pond. It was amazing to see how diverse and vibrant life is in this park.

It was a refreshing break from the busy city life. We felt closer to nature and appreciated its beauty and tranquility. I would recommend Schweppe Park to anyone who loves parks or wants to experience some peace...

Someone is repeatedly vandalizing the park with pet waste as seen in the picture. This is only one major play area for young children of those who work and live in medical center fannin, El paseo , Cambridge Street and holly hall. The police or the Residents or someone must catch the person whoever does this. This is 5 times in a row the park is vandalized in the same manner. Typical there is a pet waste cover with dog waste smeared in swings of infants and bigger children. Sometimes on the sides too !!!! Houston Park and recreation must sue this person or make the person accountable for this antisocial act. The pictures here were taken in September 03, 2024...

Love this park because it's fairly new and is nearby my wife's work, so we can eat lunch here. Our kids like it too, and there are a variety of things to play on. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 reasons:

The park looks like it needs about another foot (12 inches) or more of Mulch added, because the benches and slides in the park are all very high up.

The street that the park is on is HORRENDOUS. Pot holes the size of a small car, and construction constantly. It's not the park itself, but directly...
