Complaint Regarding Subway - 1801 Old Spanish Trail, Houston TX 77054
I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the unacceptable experience I had with this Subway location.
I placed a delivery order through the official Subway website and was immediately charged ā I have the bank transaction as proof. However, shortly after placing the order, I received a text message saying: "Your delivery from Subway has been modified or canceled. Please reach out to them directly for more information." Naturally, I tried to do exactly that. I called the number listed on both Google and the Subway website (832-203-1034), only to find that itās disconnected.
Because I couldnāt reach anyone, I had to leave work ā in the middle of a very busy day at my job in the Texas Medical Center ā just to drive to the store in person. When I got there, I was met with rudeness and zero accountability from a woman named Marlene. She was condescending, dismissive, and offered absolutely no help. She told me they never received my order and demanded a confirmation number, which I never got ā again, likely due to a glitch on the Subway website. Still, she brushed it off and told me to ātake it up with my bank.ā No apology. No empathy. Nothing.
When I mentioned the disconnected phone number, she mocked me with a smile and said, āWe donāt have a phone number.ā I asked for clarification ā āSo youāre an operating Subway with no way for customers to call?ā and she unapologetically replied, āYes.ā
This is absolutely unacceptable. Not only was I charged for something I never received, I also lost time, had to leave work, and was met with blatant disrespect. I am already disputing the charge with my bank, but Subway corporate needs to be aware of how poorly this location is being run ā from the unlisted or disconnected number, to the complete lack of customer service and professionalism. This entire experience was a waste of my time, my money, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe man were so rude. Talks too much and sarcastic. My bread that was taken out from the oven was getting cold since he was on the phone for a long time then he counted the cash or money in his hand for a long time. When I reminded him that the bread is getting cold, he replied āMaām we are busy right now, so give us time.ā Then he just left without saying anything and went inside or somewhere. I asked the other sales lady if he just left me and she didnāt say anything. When he came back, he asked me what I want for my sandwich, and as I was telling him what I want he started saying ā hold on, slowly, just a minute.ā When he was putting my meat and veggies, he accidentally picked up one slice of green bell pepper or jalapeƱo. I asked him if he could remove that bell pepper from my sandwich since I am allergic to it he said āwhere is it, I donāt see it,ā then I pointed it again for him and he finally removed it from my sandwich. After he finished making my sandwich I asked him to slice the footlong into two and wrap them separately. He was upset and pist off. He even used the old big wrapper on the other half of the sandwich. Then he keeps on asking me āanything else?ā Three times sarcastically. I asked him are you ok, are you pist off? He answered āno I am happy, see I am smiling.ā And finally, as I was paying, he keeps on saying ā I am happy,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visit this location quite often and there's usually something up when I do...either the restaurant is out of multiple things such as cheese and veggies or the staff have attitudes as if they don't want to be at work...nothing too big to write a review but today in particular, their new staff member who I was told name was Maria (by the supervisor) has changed that...I'm big on customer service and her attitude just shows she won't last too long...she had one upon arrival but after I noticed they did not have Spinach I told her that I didn't care for the sandwich and the b** shooed me with her hands 𤣠and told me bye...she caught me off guard so I sort of paused; looked at her and said, "excuse me"....and she scrunched up her face, rolled her neck and eyes and said, "BYE".....then when I asked for her name, she walked away and went to the back ignoring me...luckily for her, I was in uniform š I maintained to keep it pleasant and professional...it's funny now but it wasn't funny then š š¤¦š¾āāļø.....bottom line if you are unhappy where you're working maybe you should find something else...It's called customer service for a reason. I can say that this restaurant...
