Burgers & Beer — Restaurant in La Quinta

Generally really like this place but recently management and the kitchen staff seem to be falling off! The last few times I have gone to eat the floor under my table is sticky or wet to the point I have to ask the server for a wet towel to place underneath my feet to clean my shoes and absorb what is on the floor. My last visit started off great… we were greeted by Mariah who Sat Us got our drink and appetizer order right away. Then our food order, I ordered what I order every time (I don’t like change, once I find something I like I stick to that) get my food open my chicken sandwich only to find the chicken patty is big enough for half of the sandwich. The manager Frank comes over talking over me tells me he’ll bring another so I move the original to the side. He brings the 2nd one and literally has a qtr of a chicken sandwich :/ I voice my concern again and explain to him the quality is just not there anymore he gets upset takes my food and grabs my daughter’s food that she wasnt even done with and takes it off the bill! GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE Thank you Lindsey!

FOOD: Menu had a variety! Some, burgers, hotdogs, Mexican dishes, and great appetizers. We were a group of 6. Several burgers and a hotdog were ordered. All perfectly presented with brioche buns toasted and the trimmings were all there and fresh. I actually ordered the Baja Fish Tacos and they were superb! Accompanied with a great Baja sauce on the side, the cabbage/picante inside the tacos was fresh and chopped nicely with small cabbage pieces and fresh jalapeños. SPICY! but not too spicy =)

SERVICE: Lindsey was very sweet, fast and very patient with our hungry group. She new immediately we needed cocktails =). DONE! She dis a great job with a great big smile. Thanks Lindsey!

We've been here three times, two pre-pandemic and yesterday. This review is based on our experience yesterday at about 1230PM. We were greeted and seated immediately by a friendly hostess. All downhill from there. We waited approximately 10 minutes for our waitress who was busy with the other waitresses in a gabfest by the soda dispenser. She took our order and then literally disappeared. She walked past us a couple of times and avoided eye contact. Finally after about 15-20 minutes she walked past again and I flagged her down and asked about our order. She said she would check and then returned with our food. My patty melt and my wife's hamburger were soggy from sitting around. The fries were room temperature. By that time we were so hungry we didn't want to send them back. This location pales by comparison to the one in Rancho Mirage which we frequented when we lived...
