Ricos Tacos El Tio — Restaurant in Hawthorne

I place an order and they charge my Son the wrong order. Was giving the correct order just a Burrito and 5 tacos. When I called a Girl with the name of Maria gave me an attitude instead of trying to resolve the situation. She told me I must of called a different location, I told Her well I want You to answer how He got the right order but charge the wrong amount you must of had two orders with the same name look it up. She’s like there’s no way we are slow I told Her exactly because its a slow Night you should remember who you gave the order or check if the order was still there, tacos and drink I even gave Her the time I place the call to order by phone my Son never came back with what she keep on saying she charge him for I been buying for years from them but ever since they decide to put young not respectful young girls there business is not the same even family members and friends who buy from them had mention it before. Just because we paid cash or else I would had cancel on them or return my Burrito the taste like hand lotion and the taco look nasty just look at the picture of the meat.They must be so slow the they might even had the girls helping and not putting on gloves or even washing hands. I'm always in the area and pop in here, but today I've had it.

Service is bad.

They charge extra for all additional toppings.

No condiments bar. No green sauce. No limes. No cooked or fried onion/jalapeno side.

But for 10$ a meat only Cabeza Burrito with only onion and cilantro and red salsa a bottle of Coke, Meat was moist and flavorful, Not dry.But It was lacking of meat though. For the price I'd expect more meat. Whenever I ask for a little more meat they charge me more. It's already tiny. Why charge more for a Meat Only Burrito if you're not going to give more meat???

I dare you to ask for anything extra like lemon or peppers or carrots. They give you the stink eye, are grumbly and stingy. OUCH!

I am a frequent visitor to Rico Tacos and have always enjoyed my food. However, last night was different. There was an older male cashier, as usually when I visit there’s a middle-aged female cashier. I ordered a chicken burrito with beans and cheese and no onions, and a carne asada taco, no onions. While waiting for my food, another African American woman walks in, the older male cashier immediately greeted her, looked at me and said she comes all the time. I didn’t think anything of it until I got home with my food. I had a BEAN burrito with SPRINKLES of chicken. My taco was the size of a taqito. Very disappointing! So what I gathered from all this is if the older male cashier does not recognize you as a repeat customer, your food will be skimpy. Poor business practice and poor customer service!
