I ordered a classic chicken salad with two scoops of chicken salad for lunch. When it was brought to my table the salad part (lettuce, cucumber, tomato's) were not included. So I went to the counter and a guy helped me but never apologized for the error and just said he'd fix it and bring it to my table. He brought the salad back to the table and I began to eat the two scoops of chicken salad. I started with the barbie-q salad and it was delicious. Then I went on to start eating the classic chicken salad. However, it was extremely dry. I love chicken salad chick and this was the first time I experienced this, so I went to the counter and told them I thought it was really dry. One of the female staff members looked at me like I was crazy and repeated what I said.. The chicken salad is dry? I said yes, very dry and I love you guys but it's dry. She proceeds to tell me she can give me mayonnaise and laughed under her breath. I was kind of surprised with her response. I said no thank you, I'd prefer the barbie-q chicken salad since I know it tastes good because I just had it, so I know it's not dry. The staff member gave me the barbie-q salad but seemed a little reluctant. Completely disappointed with no one taking accountability or apologizing for the errors. I wasn't asking for something I hadn't paid for or different service that I received...
ย ย ย Read moreFirst off, I love the food here. Tried it once and I was thrilled, I had found a new fave lunch sandwich. I eat here as much as possible by drive thru. That's why i gave it 4 stars... But today I had decided to eat in for the first time. I had only used the drive thru before. Everything was going well until I noticed the girl in glasses behind the counter, who delivers the food to the tables repeatedly scratch her scalp and chin with bare hands before handling trays filed with food. If she wasn't scratching so much next to my tray of food, or if she gingerly handled my drink lid without touching every inch of the inside, I wouldn't complain. She was sweet and polite. But i could only help but think i got something extra on my plate and in my drink. These were not little touches to her hair, I'm talking going to town digging. A lot. Every 3 seconds she was digging into her hair, or patting her hair, which was pulled in a very loose bun. I'm not a super germaphobe. I have sons, but I couldn't bring myself to use the lid and was checking for hairs on my plate. She also was wiping down tables in between without washing her hands. Everyone else who was handling food had on hair nets and gloves. Idk why all her fellow eemployee didn't see a...
ย ย ย Read moreI rated this location a 1 because the manager remained polite and refunded my money without a problem.
The cashier was helpful and polite. The gentleman preparing the food was focused on his work. I noticed he was wearing earbuds when the cashier had to hit the counter and yell his name - four times - to get his attention. After removing an earbud with his gloved hand and ending the conversatuon with the cashier - who expressed she was frustrated with going through thus process with him all day and again asked him to remove the earbuds - he replaced the earbud, adjusted the volume, and resumed preparing the food...with those same gloves, as the manager observed. When thr manager did not say anything, I suggested that she may want to have him change gloves and makr a new order, at minimum. She instructed him to discard the food, put away the ear buds, wash his hands, reglove, and remake the order. I thanked her and asked for a refund, which she did provide.
I love the convenience of the drive thru, but will NEVER eat at this location again. The manager and food preparer appeared too comfortable with those food contamination practices...
