I came in last night by myself like I always do. I've been to this bar a million times before this new management and I always enjoy the atmosphere. However last night a particular waitress made me feel uncomfortable, unwanted there, and when a friend offered to come join me, I asked the waitress how much a bucket of beer was and received the rudest answers like "it depends" "I can't sell 1 person a bucket" "I don't know I have to ring it up" at this point my friend on the phone is telling me to go ahead and leave. I'm very impressed with the Caboose. Great atmosphere, and the owner of the Salty Dog Bistro, Tracy, is one amazing cook. It's bar food, but he isn't running some hippie dippie kitchen. The Cheese steak Sandwich he brought out to me was heaven on a hoagie roll. Full of flavor and I could tell in every bite that Tracy takes pride in the food he prepares. Blink you miss it. On the wrong side of the road. We have passed by for 2 years and today we stopped. Local bar and grill but whoever is the chef there gives a sh*t. I'm telling you that the food here is amazing. Had the fried chicken special, elotes, fried deviled eggs and the boneless wings with the hot honey sauce. 5 stars. Perfectly seasoned and delicious.
