THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD as a platinum member and a 7mo pregnant mother with a 1year old child is this the worst experience I have ever had from room to management. I checked in hoping to spend a few weeks as I wait to move into my new home here in Katy. I woke up to fine not one but two full size roaches running around the room myself and my son was staying in on the 2nd floor. I went down to the front desk at 5am on my way out to work to ask if I can check out and was told I can but it will have to be by 4pm or I would be charge a late check out fee. I told the lady at the front desk that it is 515am I am on my way to drop my son to daycare and then to work and will not be off work until 4pm and I have a 1hr commute to the hotel so can I get the late check fee waived. I was told a manager would contact me. Later on the manager called and said I can either switch rooms or check out but if it is after 4 I would have to pay a late check out fee. I don’t understand why I should have to pay a late check out fee because of Roaches that were found in THEIR hotel. Knowing that I would not be able to check out at that time I asked to switch rooms I received a call at 1pm while I was on my way to my 7mo doctors appointment with the manager saying I must check out now or stay in the room. The manager wanted me to stay in a roach infested room with a 1 year old infant while I was 7mo pregnant. Without me know if the room had been treated or not. I mention this is a sanitation issue and very unhealthy for my self and my son, Her reason was because the room they had promised me was booked!!! Read moreThe hotel has several issues ranging from pest control to cleaning. We booked the hotel for 2 nights. A while later, noticed ants on the floor (pictures were taken) and called front desk. The front desk was very casual about it as if it wasn't a big deal, they advised that there were no rooms available in one bedroom suite to switch and they can have the maintenance spray the room in the morning. We decided to stay in the same room as we needed a separation (a door that the other room didn't have) to not wake up my other children in the night as we were travelling with a newborn. In the middle of the night, my husband saw ants on his pillow and in the morning there were ant bites on his back and my daughter who was sleeping with him also had an ant bite. There was more ants seen on the sofa bed in the morning (pictures taken). Another issue was when the bedding was opened for the sofa bed, it was covered with long black hair (pictures taken). Once again front desk was called, they had minimal bedding to give away and apparently out of extra blankets and pillows. There were no pillows available for the sofa bed. We were switched to another room in the morning, this room again had cleaning issues. There was a card on the desk about the hospital taking extra measurements in cleaning but even that card was covered in dust and had stains on it. There were hair on the bed in the bedroom and washroom. There was also a spider on the bedroom door. We completely understand that there may be staff constraints and didn't want to call the front desk about any further issues therefore we decided not to stay the second night.
