I have been all around the Katy, Richmond and Cypress area trying all the resturants that serve Vietnamese food. I've tried them in old Katy, Asian town and have lived here for multipe years. Before I found this place I would bounce around to each different Vietnamese restaurant because each restaurant had one item that they did best. Spring rolls at one restaurant, pho at another one and so on. Since I've found this place I have been coming here for all my Vietnamese cravings. They have the best Ban Mi in the area. Spring rolls are amazing as well, very good sauce and ratio of veggies and protein. Best Pho in the area as well, I know other areas that use too much salt in their broth but all the food at Pho Old Town is very well made where they don't hide behind over seasoning like other establishments of the same type. Would whole heartedly recommendation this establishments, I was lucky enought find out about this place through Instagram and have come...
Read moreUpdate: Since my kids love the pho and grilled beef/rice plate, my teen wanted her November birthday dinner here. We had about 20 guests. It was perfect! This is a family-owned business. Brian and his mom did everything they could to tend to us even when it got a little busy with the early dinner crowd coming in. Our guests all loved the food. My sis-in-law said their Pad Thai was delicious! The rest of our guests enjoyed the Vietnamese egg rolls, rice plates, phos, etc. My family regularly eats/orders to-go from here and will continue to do so!
Original: Amazing food! I have been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants from West/NW Houston all the way down to Katy and this place is my favorite. Everything is delicious and I appreciate the fact that the pho is not overly salty. Their other plates are not as greasy as some other viet restaurants. My kids love their pho because the noodles and chicken are soft/tasty unlike other places. This is...
Read moreToday I enjoyed a delightful to-go meal from Pho Old Town in Katy, TX. Special shoutout to Cashier Bryan for recommending, the A1 Cha Gio - Vietnamese Fried Egg Rolls, the P1 Pho Dac Biet Combination (Large), and a BM1 Banh Mi Thit Nuong / Grilled Pork. The Cha Gio egg rolls were a crispy and flavorful start to the meal, delivering that satisfying crunch and savory filling that Vietnamese egg rolls are known for. The Pho Dac Biet Combination was a generously portioned and comforting bowl of authentic Vietnamese flavors, with the broth hitting all the right notes, and the request for well-done meat was perfectly met. The Banh Mi Thit Nuong offered a fantastic blend of tender, smoky grilled pork and fresh, vibrant toppings nestled in a classic crispy baguette. Overall, Pho Old Town delivered a delicious and authentic Vietnamese experience, confirming its reputation for great...
