Walking in my mom and I were helped to the area we needed to be in, but as we needed more service as to where we could find certain items everyone would take their own time and be completely rude in the process. The first person who helped us showed us where to go and then just walked off to help another customer while my mom was about to ask a question about the product. The second person that I had to go up to twice to get their attention didn't care to help us at all she would walk off and help other people and when my mom went to see if she wanted us to follow she pointed her finger and raised her voice to my mom as if she was a 3 year old child and there were no can I help you today questions it was just staring and ignoring my mother and i. Service was rude and just plain shameful after we drove an hour just to go to this specific JC Penney I was in shock over the type of customer service that was presented to the public. There is absolutely NO REASON that every person I encountered on the bottom level of that store was "unavailable". The person in your "intimates" department needs a whole attitude adjustment. Whomever Darla is needs a refresher course on customer service. When asked if she'd be able to assist me by another associate in the makeup department she said "I guess?" . UNACCEPTABLE. the only two people out of 6 that I encountered that were even remotely appropriate was the lady at the Sephora counter, unfortunately I didn't get her name and Nancy who was upstairs when I finally got tired of standing in the no line downstairs waiting to get something checked so I could either purchase or leave. Once it was my turn to be served I was told that they do not do returns at customer service. I was also told that there was a sign stating where to return things to. When I asked where the sign was the lady responded they must have moved it. I am absolutely furious that they would not provide customer service at customer service. because of the lousy demeanor of the employee I had to deal with and the ridiculous policies of this company I will never shop here again.
