Overall it was decent to stay with our timeshare. One thing that I really have to point out that turned me off was during check-in, you need to get a parking pass for your vehicle. Well you check in then are sent to another area to get the parking pass where they are tasked with getting you signed up for a tour. I didn’t initially realize why they were setting me up with a time for breakfast and to view a room, even though we already own timeshares and in this network (not same location). So long story short the guy started out all nice and pleasant when he asked me for $20 to hold my spot it clicked what it was for and I said no. Well as soon as I said no I’m all set (I wasn’t rude about it initially), the guy was like a light switch and his facial expressions, mannerisms, and speech changed. He was no longer interested in me as a person or customer. I felt like he was being very dismissive after that. So I got my parking pass and told one of the hotel managers: you shouldn’t have to go deal with a “salesperson” to get a parking pass, especially when you have family waiting to park and check in after a long day of traveling. The whole process totally turned me off. We did try calling down to the front desk at one point and there was no answer one particular evening but we called again for something else and they were helpful. The cleaning staff was friendly in our building. The rooms need a little updating (examples - the smoke detector batteries were dead but they do have a separate alarm that’s hardwired, this one was a standalone wall mount that was not functional. The sink corking was pulling off like 6” of it hanging, the towel hanger in the bathroom fell off because it wasn’t screwed properly and finally the pull out couch bed bottom most cover had hairs on it. So the location is excellent with easy access to parks, restaurants, shopping, the highway and about 20-25min from MCO airport. The pool area we used at buildings 16-17 was very nice. You can get some most of the day at that pool but some areas around the buildings have the sun blocked just keep that in mind. Also, be careful with little kids in the outside deck area! There is a clear “latch” on the sliders that can prevent kids from opening those doors so look for that. The entry system uses a card system that easily deactivates if you put the card on your phone so be careful. The trash area was hard to find and the one we found was kind of far to walk with heavy bags of trash. Overall it’s probably a 3-4 star facility. I would go back for the location primarily. Hope this helps.

This place is wonderful. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The room I was in, the tub/jacuzzi was right next to the bedroom with no door. This was a problem for anyone that wants to remain modest, while others are still in bed. The kitchen had everything you need to feel at home. The pools are heated. The hot tubs are great. Parking is rough. The other thing I noticed was in building 16 floor 2, some of the windows in the hallway. They are filthy. On the outside. Very off putting. Layered on dirt with cobwebs. This was true for more than one hallway window. These windows are facing the pool. I don't know if it is like that in any other floors or buildings but it was like that on the floor I just mentioned. Another guest commented to me about it too. The windows in my room were spotless. It was just the hallway windows. The room key we had 4. Only one worked. We got tired of trying to get it fixed. So we had to share the key and make sure the person that was going back to the room first had the key. A mild inconvenience most of the time. I do suggest, make sure all the keys work as soon as you get there. My roomie learned the hard way that the key didnt work when the rest of us was off property. I don't think housekeeping came in to our room the entire time we were there. We had to request more towels toward the end of our stay. Most staff was helpful and courteous. There was a golf cart with 5 men 3 standing 2 in the cart talking. I needed to ask for directions. I said excuse me 3 times. They just ignored me while looking at me and kept talking. One guy, eventually said what? Then he answered my question. Overall. It was the room, pool and location that I give 4 stars. The bed was comfortable. The pullout bed I hear is comfortable. Very nice home away from home.

Our first night here was horrible. We flew in and went to the hotel at noon, they told us our room wouldn’t be ready till 4. It wasn’t a big deal, we were planning on going out anyway. We arrive back around 9:00pm. We go up to our room and the keys don’t work. We had just come back from the grocery store, so we had a weeks worth of groceries with us. My husband went down to the front desk, but there was no one there, he found a maintenance man and he said he would call someone. It took 30 minutes for a worker to show up. He couldn’t get our door open, he said he was going to call the night manager. It took him 30 minutes to show up. He got our door open. Apparently, the people in the room next to us locked us out. There is a shared door in the hallway, and when you open that door, there are 2 separate doors for 2 separate rooms. The people in the next room locked the deadbolt on the hallway door so we couldn’t open the door. Anyone can do it, so anyone in the room next to you are able to lock the door. After we finally got into our room after 10:00 pm, we were getting settled and ready for bed. We pulled out the sleeper sofa and found the mattress was disgusting. There were stains all over it that looked like mold. We had to find someone to come look at the mattress. By the time they got up there and looked at it and switched the mattress, it was after 11:00pm. We were exhausted.

In an off peak period the elderly and the heat and Severe lack of Sun Protected Tables with No Umbrelas to take cover from Intence Sun Temp. Many if not the Majorty of Timeshare owners are of Senior Citizin Age and many with Disabillities due to age etc . Again "Severe", lack of Acccommodation Suiatable for Dissabled Timeshare Owners that even have this Resort as their Home Resort. In FACT For a Resort with 24 Buildings ,The Newer Buildings being 12 Storeys High and housing 86 Apartments that accommidate 4 people per appartment.

Im an Owner whom owns a Combined Condo that accommodates 8 but back to Accommodation Suitability for Dissabled, this Supposadly "Gold Crown Resort" Has ONLY "22",Rooms out of their 24 Buildings that can Accomodate even during off Peak Season over 3,000 people with accommodation for Dissabled Limited to ONLY "88 People Max",And "Transportation Equally Shocking!!", with One Clapped out 16 yrs old 12 Seater Mini bus with capacity of taking either 2 Wheel chairs or 1 Mobility Scooter!!!.Most of the Time Not available as always Broken down. Far from adiquit to meet with potential ammount Disabeled or Sebior Citizin Owners of 30 years plus as Home Resort Owners.

It concerns me Seriously the Health and Safety aspects being the lack if trained Life Gaurd Safty Pool Attendants for a pool off this dencity. Fun for the Kids in a very large swimming pool but take into account the large No of kids .Every Ones Health and Safety including Hard working POOL ATENDANTS or at least Half of them that make any conceted effort to keep the place Clean, sitting in their Pool attendant Area Playing on their Mobile Phones is VERY NOTICABLE. Do NOT get me Wrong their Are Some Excellant Pool Attendants But Surely they ALL Should adhere to the same level of Work Standards. This is an open and Honest account of what i have Whittnessed over 20 years as an Owner at this Resort with Extremely High Annual Maintanance, and Exchange Fees even as an Owner its an Expensive Vacation with Zero Guarantee if You have Unfortunatly become Dissabled,to receive Suatable Dissabled addapted Condo Unit Accommodation.

My comments I have heard a considerable ammount off long time Owners all have whittnessed the Same Dissappointment.

They are More interested In Trying to SELL SELL SELL,and pass the buck regards Looking After Long Term Exsisting Owners.

"Honesty", is the best and fairest Policy...
