(Edited after owner's response) Glad you took it off your menu because your business clearly couldn't manage it. Doesn't change the fact that your service is below standard and it shows from your response. Not at all acknowledging your mistake, just defending yourself.
Also if you look at other low rating reviews, you'll see a trend: lack of customer care and inconsistency. This franchise location is lacking in all aspects. Most reviews giving this location high ratings seem to be unfamiliar with what a good boba joint is supposed to be. I admit I put up with Ding Tea La Quinta's bs because there weren't better options near here, but now this is no longer the case. Tea Be Honest and Ding Tea PALM DESERT has far better customer service and their managers actually care.

Wasted over 30min waiting for Dingtea LQ to "perfect" our egg waffles. If there's an issue with your product/service, apologize to the customer and explain the situation - don't lie and build false expectations. Why lie and waste time?
They told us our waffle was ready and waiting to cool. Fast forward 20min, they say the waffle takes a long time and they're having a hard time making it. No manager on site at this point. My guess is the manager rushed in to help with the waffle maker bc she showed up 30min later and my waffle was finally ready. I ended up asking for a refund for the egg waffle although I should've gotten a refund for the drinks too since all our drinks have been compromised with the ice melting during the long wait. As my refund was being processed, I watched an employee explain the situation to the manager. The manager then walks over, avoiding eye contact with no apology, to see the refund getting processed. Really? Only after I talk to her to explain the situation, she apologizes but still doesn't acknowledge fault on their end. Instead, she tells me they're short-staffed and she had to come out to help - ok, then hire more employees and train them to actually make the items on your menu. She does show me the waffle and say it is finally ready and offers to give it to me. Lol, no thanks. You eat that waffle and learn customer service. PLEASE RESPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS' TIME.
Also, please have some sort of ventilation. It's always stuffy and air is gross in there. Stop asking customers to keep the door shut when there's a highly contagious virus with not enough room for social distancing. Shows how much you care about customers...
Read moreVery disappointed with the customer service. Asked a couple of questions and Ordered 4 drinks. The atmosphere was cute but the girls working there were completely the opposite. No smile or pleasant energy at all. When 2 drinks were ready I saw that one was definitely not mine and spoke up. The girl on the other side said I should have Ordered it correctly while she actually had the right one in front of her. I explained I did and she looked at the one in front of her more than twice before she figured out it was mine. She picked it up and dropped it on the counter on its side. Some drink spilled out and she just cleaned the rim with a rag that was laying on the counter, re sealed it and gave it to me. Then we had to remind them of our last drink after we saw 3 different orders be filled that came after us and a long wait. There were no apologies and no care for what had happened at all but don't mind having a preset of tipping options when purchasing. The tipping options should go with the service they ate...
Read moreMy boyfriend ordered boba for both of us through DoorDash. He requested a small detail on my boba and they did it! It was so sweet of them to go out of their way to accommodate this request. Boba itself was good! I can’t complain about the Jasmine Milk Tea, it was good and I’m glad I requested less milk because I prefer tea more. I wish there was an option to choose a cup size, I thought it would be one size due to the no option on dd. My bf loved his cookies & creme boba smoothie with creme brûlée. I would order again from this boba shop and try other flavors next time ❤️
UPDATE 3-17-24. I don’t know who made my order today, but it was terrible. Two of my drinks weren’t good. The cookies & cream smoothie drink, the lid wasn’t on correctly and the drink spilled all over. It also was flavorless. The matcha milk tea had NO flavor, straight milk.
