American Mattress — Hotel in Lake Zurich

My issue is not with the store, but more with American Mattress in general. I have bought several mattresses from this store, and have had no issues. On my last mattress purchase, I was told the mattress was in stock and would be delivered. I arranged to take a day off of work, only to be informed the day before the delivery, that they could not honor their commitment and would have to reschedule for the following week. They said it was an issue with the supplier, or some other excuse. A week and a half later, I finally received my mattress and adjustable base. However, the base was broken out of the box. I refused delivery because I did not want to accept a brand new item that was broken, but was assured by the delivery man to keep the base and that American Mattress would exchange the base ASAP. They then call me later and say that they want to attempt to fix it instead. I waited several hours and then finally a person from the base company (Rize Home) came out and was unsuccessful at fixing it. Now, instead of getting a new base as promised, I am being told I have no choice but to take another day off of work and wait around for a repairman to fix the brand new base! Do yourself a favor and go to Mattress Firm or Hasseless Mattress where customers are...

We were shopping for mattresses two years ago at American Mattress in Lake Zurich, IL. The service was excellent. No pun intended, but it was comfortable being in the American Mattress store. We were offered help with any questions we asked. Our plan was to go back to that store and choose the mattress in the near future. However, we decided to wait awhile before purchasing a mattress.

I really appreciated how we were treated and stopped in the store one day to tell the gentleman about our decision to delay purchasing a mattress. Again we were treated with respect and invited to come back any time. I told him when we buy the mattress we would be returning to his store and felt no need to check out mattresses at any other store.

This year we purchased the mattress. Yes, we purchased it at American Mattress in Lake Zurich. Our family loves the story …AND, we love the mattress which now has rich burgundy bedding with a very old but colorful...

Excellent customer service!! We had a warranty issue with our old mattress & Jeremy helped us through the process wonderfully!! He explained what we needed to do, told us what criteria the 3rd party mattress inspector would use, so we wouldn't waste our on time or money on the service call, and he even made inquiries to find out (as soon as possible) whether we were eligible for a new mattress through the waranty. We were & got our new mattress from him. He was fabulous for pointing out what to look for when selecting our next bed and made us feel like we were his top priority throughout our entire experience!!
