An absolutely magical space for your wedding! We had a perfect day on the grounds of Wandering Tree and felt as though we were no longer in Illinois, but in a dream. Perfect venue for small gatherings and I can’t wait to host more special events here!! H.L. is a thoughtful and helpful venue manager who will help you to envision the perfect landscape for your big day! The grounds are immaculate, every detail is just perfect, anything that can impact outdoor events was not even an issue due to the pre-planning and hard work of the crew at Wandering Tree! The train garden is sublime, the Japanese garden is so idyllic, the bridal cottage was SO charming and perfect before and after the wedding and our ceremony site was completely shaded, which is so important for gorgeous photos. H.L. has so much experience with events and gave me some excellent advice, was there to faux walk me down the aisle when we were there scouting our ceremony location which helped pull the entire vision together and was a delight throughout. There is so much love and care associated with Wandering Tree and it is forever in our hearts. This will be the perfect space for any event, cannot recommend it...

The Wandering Tree Estate is an exquisite gem and both the owner and the venue presented us with an absolutely beautiful atmosphere for our wedding. HL was kind, hospitable, and thorough when showing us the venue and giving numerous suggestions and recommendations on how to best make our day special. He was very patient during our numerous phone conversations and I'm forever grateful for that. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and it allows people to create their own personal vision of what they want. Most venues come with attached catering services and limited choices but we were able to hand pick exactly what we wanted and not have to settle for prepackaged vendor deals.
