We love stockpiling the must haves here. Prices are good, quality is first rate and excellent customer service. And no member fees. Highly recommend GFS. This is an add-on related to Hurricane Irma....

I wanted to email you to send praise and a HUGE thank you to my local store. We are a family of 3, hubby and our recently graduated son. He's going into nursing. We love your store. Great prices, products and wonderful employees. The manager goes above, making sure the customers know he wants us there. ( unlike Sam's Club). Last Saturday, September 9,2017 we had to hurry up and finish stocking up for Hurricane Irma. We knew we could grab the rest to of what we needed. Little chafing dish oil lights ( I highly recommend them for emergency lighing.), snacks, you know. On our way to the check out, the manager was marking down baked goods. Because our son is a human vacuum, we grabbed some. At a dollar a package, we grabbed lots. I was looking at a package of yummy looking Danish. Your manager said...it's yours, no charge. I almost cried. With the stress of what was coming, his,to him,act of kindness meant more than words. I just him and his employees to get a pat on the back. And a job well done. I will be a life long customer!! By the way, we made it through. Lots of trees down, flooding, no power for 4 days but no injuries. So, THANK YOU and your kind employees.

This was my first time in this store. They have so many selections. I loved the store and spent quite a bit of money in there BUT the cashier with the tattoos on her neck (no judgement I’ve got multiple as well) was so rude and you could just tell she hated her job. The men upfront with her were very nice and respectful and even helpful. She never one time smiled. Never one time greeted us. Whenever she was asked a question it was “yeah” and so low I had to ask her to repeat herself a few times. I told her I would like to get an insulated bag as she was putting all my cold items in the box and she said k and never scanned it until the very very end! So then I had to go to my car and undo everything she did just to get all my cold stuff in the bag because she was so lazy. She handed me my receipt and never spoke a word. I will come back but if I see this girl working at the register again you can promise I will walk right out. That’s how much I felt unwelcome...

I wanted to give raving reviews on store 1935 in Lakeland FL. Managers and personnel, namely Joshua. I absolutely love shopping here and my experience is largely due to the staff. All three of these individuals have always been highly helpful and their customer service and care is impeccable. It's a pity I'm just completing review. They even stop and talk to us (I'm a business owner) offering suggestions and talking through scenarios offering to help. The manager(Randy) promised to help me navigate the website when I returned to help me better use their online services. I can't say enough about the experience I always have in this store. Also, the music is always on point!...
