(Edited because it got worse) Absolutely filthy. Every cabinet and drawer including the dresser and night stand had crumbs or dried liquids in it. The entire dresser was covered in some sort of dried white liquid. The counter top in the kitchen had spots on it. The bathroom counter had spots and tons of soap gunk all around the sink. The shower is a disaster, all the shelves had thick layers of soap on them an one even had a little soap bar remnant stuck to it, the shower not only has no pressure but the shower control is broken and just spins forever with no rhyme or reason to the temperature. Turned it on and it was cold, it stayed cold until I eventually turned it far enough that it just turned off again, kept turning and it was hot until it turned off again, every time it turned on it seemed to just be a random temperature and eventually got a useable one. The carpets are completely covered in black stains most notably big black water marks around the door which not only has daylight coming in all over but at the bottom the gap is so bad you could stick a butter knife through it while fully latched. Even the little sad little black office chair at the table by the kitchen is covered in white stains. I can’t imagine what other stains would be visible if it wasn’t black. I keep getting whiffs of dog itinerant smell but there’s also a very gross smell coming from that sad black chair. The TV only has basic cable so if you want to log in to your streaming services you better have your own devices and cables to plug into it. The staff is nice but room is disgusting. I had to go buy my own cleaning supplies to make it not feel like so much of a health hazard and I keep finding more gross little spots. Only been here 3 days out of a month and a half stay and I very much regret trusting the other reviews that said it was nice here. Maybe they’ve updated some of the rooms and just haven’t gotten to this one yet but there’s no excuse for how dirty absolutely everything was. Wish I had taken photos before I cleaned all the hard surfaces because it was unbelievable. Update: talked to the front desk staff because the bathroom light burned out, not only can they not even replace a light bulb until the next morning but when they offered to move me to another room and I brought up how filthy this one was they asked which one and then told me they were surprised to hear it was so dirty because “that’s one of our best rooms!” So I guess they considered the mystery fluid dried on the dresser to be a part of the room since it’s just impossible for them to give the cleaning staff a box of Clorox wipes? Added videos of me literally sticking a butter knife through the fully latched door and the shower spinning endlessly. This is apparently the best you...
Read moreDisappointing to say the least. Check in was fine but the room....not so much. For starters, local stations were not available on the t.v. so I wasn't able to watch the local news and get simple things like traffic reports, weather etc. When talking with the staff they reported it was 'being worked on', and then 'well, we're trying to find someone'. Apparently, their satellite dish was stolen. Despite booking a suite, there were no utensils, plates etc in the room. You needed to call for them. That's really inconvenient. The refrigerator was not working properly and froze our food. It was dirty as well. The comforter on the bed had stains on it, (yikes!). The ironing board was not functional and kept collapsing when I attempted to use it. The room was heavily deodorized with some kind of chemical that was hiding the real underlying odor which was cigarette smoke. We were not able to even open a window to let fresh air in. Their 'Grab and Go' breakfast consisted of (and I kid you not), granola bars. Apparently, someone really liked granola bars because they were out of 'Grab and Go' by 8:00 a.m. on the second day of our stay. And the absolute icing on the cake was the shower. It seems the mixing valve (room 340), was seriously out of order and went from ice cold water to scalding hot in a matter of seconds. This sucks when you've got a head full of shampoo and you're trying desperately to just quickly rinse without burning your scalp. My husband nixed the shower (smart man) while I just tried to get in and out as quickly as I could. Finally, there were cigarette butts on the walk ways on all levels. Doesn't Colorado have a law that disallows smoking in all public buildings? If you're grandfathered in, this really needs to change. You're allowing 20% or less of your customers to dictate their filthy habit to the remaining 80% of your customers. Does that make good economic sense to you? This hotel could be a decent place to stay if the rooms were deeply cleaned and checked for ANY issues, smoking was not allowed and ashtrays for smokers were strategically placed. Definitely not worth the price we paid and because conditions were as bad as they were, we were unable to even stand one more night there so we forfeited one night for the sake of a decent's night sleep at...
Read moreI've had a few issues at this extended stay with one particular manager who's name I won't disclose publicly because I don't believe in trashing someone online. I'll just say that it's a male manager. And the last issue I had with this person was significant enough to never recommend this place or stay at this location ever again. I've stayed at this location numerous times and have never had an issue with the debit card I used. It's been used by every employee in the motel for incidentals and for reservation and for payments. But on this day for some reason I was checking in after making a reservation and this male manager told me he didn't accept my debit card because it was an internet banking account. I even informed him that he's checked me in and accepted this card as payment numerous times and never said anything to me about it. Then he got extremely irritated when I asked him why he has taken my card before. He started telling me to get out of the office and off the property. So I asked for corporate number which he refused by saying I could find it online and I needed to leave. So I went to the end of the building to get my bags and my dog from my friends car and he came out on the phone with police or animal control and was telling them that my dog was running loose on the property. So I walk over to get my dog and she was laying down on the sidewalk of the motel but she is old and was tired and didn't want to move so I stood her up by her harness and the manager that was on the police call told police that I was abusing my dog and animal cruelty as well. So my take on the situation is that he got extremely upset that I informed him that the card had been used by him and his staff numerous times and didn't know how to handle the situation or what to say about it so he turned it in to something completely blown out of proportion just to cover up his mistakes. Which shows me just how immature this manager is as an employee and person in general. That he'd be willing to try and get me in trouble with police and have my dog taken away rather than just check me in like he'd done plenty of times before. Completely rude and childish behavior and not proper management of the situation. Best of luck to you if this guy decides he dont like...
