White Swan Motel — Hotel in Lakewood

I needed a place to stay that was close to where I needed to be so I made reservations here. First of all there is no such thing as reservations here. At that time i asked the guy how the rooms were because the reviews i had read were terrible but older reviews. Then there was a newer review that leads you to believe they have remodeled and the place has changed. The guy basically said that they have updated some of them and are sold out every night. So I assumed that perhaps they were remodeled and decent. And I was on a budget and this place was cheap. The outside was scary as I drove up but decided to give them the benefit of doubt. The room did smell nice and the carpet was fairly decent but the lady at the front desk said she was putting me in a room with a new bed. The bed was not new and the bathroom was terrible. The floor was sinking in and you could see the crawl space underneath. The location was scary. I was truely afraid to leave my car outside and would never dream of walking anywhere around there. I ended up calling the front desk and telling her i was checking out. She said there was no refunds. So i cut my loses and moved to a cleaner, safer and more relaxing hotel. There was also several "scary" people lingering around outside the rooms as if they lived there all the time. Overall this was the worst experience of my life. Overall pretty decent I will stay busy pretty much anytime you need something you can just go ask and I'll get it and they're real strict about having guests over past 10 which is understandable because this is a rough area and he's homeless people that's around here won't take no for an answer and they just try real hard I guess because I have nowhere to go but that's only half true the other half true is because they want to get in there and Rob you blind probably have lost all my clothes and Colfax Road right here because of all the damn gangs and homeless people who try to help you one if you help the wrong one it might cost you everything you own just saying there's a reason why these rules are in place and when the cheapest places around has to be strict know what I'm saying because a bunch of bad things no trying to have cheap rates and still be good security so you can sleep better at night I'd rather have good security and run the homeless people out so $10 thing people complain about and actually helping you out otherwise are bee swarms driving by the office when you pull in helps secure and...

I stayed there with my girlfriend and was committed to paying rent on a daily basis I had a bad accident went to hospital for a week during this ordeal I made arrangements with management to put my belongings away till I return ..well they did they alowed the maintenance man (rex) to enter my room and steal all of our belongings and pass it out to all the crackheads that live there once my girlfriend and I ask for our belongings they threatened to call the cops this place is crooked and the people that work there are worse then the drug addicts that walk the streets,the owners buy stolen merchandise from drug addicts that is stolen from walmart,home depot,lowes,and any other place that they can get a deal on...I recommend nobody stay there even if your homeless they really take advantage of the homeless because they know there hopeless and the maintenance man ( REX) he makes money after dark by jacking the rates up .....A Bunch of crooks this place needs to be closed down it has many health code violation and should be...
