Edgewater Library - Jefferson County Public Library — Attraction in Edgewater

I love this Library!! They have 1 of the Best Movie Collections, including New Movies!!! I LOVE their "Banned Books" Section!!! I started going here frequently after I was looking for a place I could do some Printing & Copying & I found Edgewater Library & learned they currently do all Printing & Copying for FREE!! Yup, for FREE!!!! If ur just Printing (Not Copying) u can even email or text watever it is u need Printed & how many u need, then get CurbSide pickup!! U just park in one of the "Pick up Spots" that are labeled & message them ur there & which spot ur in & they will "FREE of Charge" bring out ur Prints!!! IT'S FREAKING AWESOME!!! Other places I found all charge & would NVR Print it for u & bring it out 2 u!! It's so convenient, cost efficient & time saving.... Really helps in times like today ya kno!?!? They have plenty of Computers for use as well & chill spots 2 relax or handy spots 2 study!!! Oh yea last thing- Staff is Super Friendly & very helpful!! But Not overly, they dont hover or bother unless u request service... which I appreciate!!! I've Not once had any problem w/any employee, No attitude, No feeling Judged... just welcomed, served & satisfied!! Edgewater Library is the ONLY Library I will EVER go 2 from now...

I'm from a neighboring county; I spent most of a June Tuesday here. Wow, what an amazing community resource. The court, PD, library, full-size basketball courts, unisex restrooms, waterbottle stations, and a reception desk set up to help with a spectrum of life's curveballs are downstairs. Because it's a municipal building, there are a few armed uniformed officers in the lobby. I love that, actually. Upstairs are multiple gyms and aerobic studios, keypad lockers, showers, bathrooms, a sitting area, etc. My out-of-jefco day pass was $6. I used the library for hours. Ample seating throughout midday, plenty of open outlets, big windows, helpful friendly staff, free WiFi. I used the gym for a half hour. Not quite enough ventilation, but as a lifelong gym person, it has everything you need. It probably couldn't handle more than 10 people without feeling crowded, but there were maybe 5 others - no posing, no sitting around, just getting it done. This feels like a mini YMCA, only safer, cleaner, more accommodating, and without the peacocks that strut...

I’ve always had pretty good experiences at this library. Although today I checked out Season 4 of Big Bang Theory when I got home the first 2/3 discs were missing. I called the library to let them know and they said to bring it back and they will try to replace it. So I go in to replace it and explain it to the front desk lady. She couldn’t comprehend what I was saying and when I explained it for the third time she pretty much accused me of losing it and told me to go home and look for it, even though I already explained to her that they were not in the disc after checking them out. So she brushes me off and 10 min later I watched her coworker put it back on the shelf with still only 1/3 discs in it so no wonder how it happened to me. So I grab it and walk up to the lady again and showed her that I just found it on the shelf still missing the discs. She was rude and tried to play dumb and then continued to tell me that I should just go home and...
