This was not the best experience, but not the worst. It's just very bad compared to the Motel 6 that I use in Fairfield, California. The gentleman working the desk named Martin was very very kind, friendly, accommodating, and obliging an d let me see the room before I rented it. However, after close observation, and spending time in the room after I rented it, I noticed that I was coughing and there seemed to be a hint of smoke that was causing me to cough. I got into Las Vegas late about 10:00 p.m. and I was not sure I had a lot of options to rent anything so I went ahead and Googled Motel 6 because I use Motel 6 in the San Francisco Bay Area in Fairfield.  I didn't particularly like the smell of the room because it seemed like it could have possibly been smoked in and there was no microwave or refrigerator and there was only one light in the ceiling and no lamps, so I was a bit put off that it was the same price as I pay in the San Francisco Bay Area for those amenities. At the same time, I couldn't complain because for one or two nights, I could recommend it. I didn't like the fact that I got there late and wasn't able to get a room on the front side where I could see my car, but I was abre to park by the manager's car out front and there seemed to be ample cameras to cover the area. Overall, I think I would recommend this Motel 6 because it was inexpensive at $112 including all fees and it was actually quiet and the air conditioning worked, the TV worked, and there was free Wi-Fi. But I was annoyed all night from the smell of the room, so I won't rent this place again for myself, unless I'm in another situation where I feel like I might not have a lot of choices at the last minute. I might add that I've had  very positive experiences with the Motel 6 in Fairfield California, which has been newly renovated. It got to a point where it was difficult to breathe freely and I thought I was going to have to leave the room, so I'll have to do a better job when viewing these rooms before renting them. The Ice machine was broken, so no ice in a hot town like this! It's already  94° at 10:00 a.m. and then they locked me out of my room when I left early this morning and came back at 9:30. I couldn't get in my room. There is paint peeling in the bathtub itself, paint spots on the floor, and a lamp in the corner with the cord end cut off. This Motel 6 needs a serious upgrade and I'm sorry but I have to de-recommend Motel 6, I do not recommend this Motel 6 unless you have to rent someplace inexpensive and need to stay a couple of nights. In that case, I think one could bear with the negatives. I am very disappointed. Not all Motel 6s are the same.

I stayed at this Motel 6 during my visit to Las Vegas and it was wonderful! This Motel 6 is newly remodeled and the rooms are beautiful, everything felt brand new and luxurious. The room was very clean, the sheets were fresh, and the bathroom was spotless. To my pleasant surprise, the room was very aesthetically pleasing and spacious. For the price of my stay, it felt like a bargain for the newly renovated room and extremely efficient service. I requested clean towels from the front desk and they stopped by within a couple minutes to drop them off. The woman was also very sweet and kind, which I really appreciated. The location is also very convenient, I was just a few minutes away from the Fremont Street Experience where I got to experience the Vegas nightlife and performances. There are so many attractions and activities around this motel, you will definitely have a lot of fun things to keep you busy. I will certainly be back!

I must first start with the positive! The front desk staff was AMAZING! Unfortunately I didn’t remember their names. The first gal called us 2x to make sure we were checking in (we were taking forever to get here from San Diego) Once we did arrive check in was easy and quick! NOW for the negative. Our room smelled quite musty. The pillow cases and other linens have yellow stains on them (they smell very clean tho) Our remotes didn’t have batteries… the front desk gave us some batteries, but sadly only 2 worked. Our AC unit doesn’t work AT ALL! I tried to turn it on manually, but no avail. We unplugged and plugged back in… still no luck. The screws on the Security Latch are not secure into the wall. We used our own screw driver to tighten them, but without anchors it doesn’t keep the door from opening.😟 Let me return to how AWESOME your front desk staff is🤩

I had a long review up but they must of took it down because I pointed out their nastiness. First off the rooms are big no doubt but now is the air conditioner it sits high near the roof so you will have a fight with that trying to get cooled down on extreme hot days as we were on this day of the 15th day of this month the floors are ripped the bathroom door had a big hole in the door the lights are very weak so we couldn't really see in our room around 4am is when I noticed around 4am I go to the restroom and daanng loads of small clan of roaches extremely small just mind-blowing and skin crawling I didn't think they could have crawled in our belongs but we check out and later on that same$ day I go to make sandwiches in our car because we door dash and ewwww small roaches came out on our food on my husband leg pants all this for $89 was not worth it yes they give extra towels but even those weren't up to their standard the young woman that helped me her attitude was as if she is their for her pay and anything else you have to do it. I don't recommend this place to any one not a family or friends or strangers my name is on the line if I recommend this crummy place they know they can update and remodel the rooms but they choose not to it's not worth your hard earned money you work hard to get and try to keep I say let this be your last resort even so just sleep on the streets this place is nasty I am still messed up in the mind from all those baby roaches that came out all at once it was to many to count I was just trying to...
