I've been a repeat customers since 2022 and the customer service has been lousy ever since. I have been late before and still paid to keep on service. This time I was laid off so financial hardship prevents me from paying. I can't call to let anyone know because they send me through the runaround over verifying me and once I've answered what you really need, and you continue to play games I ain't got my phone. March bill was not paid on the 26th. Without them sending a notification they sent someone to pick up the device on my roof. I spoke to Jay a female in billing who stated that I called in the agent assumed I wanted to make a payment. If that agent assumed it, then she did too. The bottom line is I don't work for the company. To why be trifling and ignorant send the notification!
But since they didn't and that was her lame excuse. No problem. This means I don't pay a bill in April on the 26th I have no service. I was a repeat customer and now they're not getting anything else outside of $75 and the device on my wall. But the service was canceled by them since I originally paid a deposit of 250 they think they're getting that again. Scam artist... š§ š¤ I called and spoke to someone named Mark on the 23rd and today the 24th. I asked him who's over him all of a sudden no one. Every answer was being met with something lame. So from there I elected Yelp, BBB and trust pilot as well as the Federal Trade commission in the attorney general's office to be over them.
My complaints will be going in.
Maybe next time they'll give a notification like they're supposed to.
And maybe next time they'll provide better customer service and answer my question honestly tour resolution can come from the complaint that I was going to put in.
But now I found my own resolution. Give them the device on my wall get a receipt for doing that. Play them 75.00 for the March payment. And move the F on. ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe service is adequate at best. Don't expect super fast speeds, even with their highest tier plan, which is what I have. I need to mention something VERY important to potential customers. They will disconnect your service if you have not paid your current bill within 8 days. They call it an 8 day grace period. I pay my bills and have nothing overdue on this account. They cut my service off and refused to make arrangements for an additional 3 days to my payday on the current bill due, I was 8 days past the 15th. They do not have policies set up for the customers benefit. They are all for their own. I currently owe $0.00. When the 15th of October rolls around, regardless of my good standing, they will disconnect me if I am not paid by the 23rd. This feels like pay as you go internet. If you are cool with that, get service through LV Net. If you are like me and your payday doesn't always line up with the 15th, you might want to consider another company such as Cox, who are much more customer oriented and want to help you. LV Net doesn't care if their customers are satisfied or not.
** Edit Hi Jay, I actually tried calling you a few times but am always told you are not available and to call back later. I had to call like usual the month of October and beg for a week extension. I was very condescendingly asked if I knew which day my bill is due on so that I could attempt to make my payments on time in the future. Nice clap back! I am very aware of my due dates. Thanks for checking in that. However, this ridiculous policy doesn't understand when my payday falls and while I know no one is changing policy for little ol' me, when I come to your company hat in a hand asking for an extension on a bill that is not overdue, it would be nice to not be talked down to by your "customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEarly this morning (Sunday August 30th) I had to conduct business online and I found out that I had no internet connection. I tried several times to contact customer service but the phones were down, and the website was down when i tried to use my cell phone to reach them. After doing that I then looked at the customer reviews for LV.Net to see if anyone else posted the same issue. And after reading the reviews I noticed a response from someone named Jennifer, and in that response she left a phone number. I assumed it was her work phone number and planned on leaving a voicemail so she could get back to me on a business day (Monday). But when I called her number she answered me in a tired voice as if she just woke up. I was surprised that it was her personal phone number and that she would pick up the phone at 5:17 AM. I explained the situation and she said she would investigate the issue and call back, after five minutes she called back and told me there was a nationwide internet issue. She told me she would keep in touch in case there were any updates, she called three times to inform me about the issues and updates. I am grateful for this service and for Jennifer's help, I did not expect an employee to wake up at 5:17 in the morning and help me through this situation. Kudos...
