LA MALA BAR & NIGHTCLUB — Restaurant in Las Vegas

The food was good. We have had better Mexican food elsewhere. The service was horrible!! We asked our waiter 3 times for a highchair. He kept forgetting to refill our drinks, he forgot half of our drinks, he forgot one person's food and then looked at us like we didn't order it, then came back 2 minutes later and said here's your food! We always had to call him or ask another waiter for something we needed or were missing! I'm not sure of his name, but if you do decide to go and you get an older man that is bald, ask for a different person right away. We expected more from this place, especially since it's part of Lectias franchise! It makes me not want to go to any of her places!!!! Besides, there are much, much, much better Mexican restaurants with way better service...

Went last night and had the del mar molcajete with add steak and it was a large meal for two. I had the spicy guava margarita and a mezcal burro both drinks were fantastic 👌

My husband and I both commented that this was the best Mexican we have ever had in town. It felt like I could be sitting on the beach in Mexico having dinner.

From the ambiance, to the server (Juan-Maria), drinks, the meal and salsa... everything was exactly what I want from a good sit down Mexican restaurant. The food and ambiance felt like the comfort of abualitas kitchen but with elevated hospitality. I live close by, and I am so glad that there is a good Mexican food option in DTLV. We came on a Friday night, and it wasn’t very busy, but the service and food were excellent. The classic margarita on the rocks was deliciously fresh. The margarita mix didn’t taste acidic as if it were from a bottle. It tasted home made! Yum. The shrimp chile relleno with ranchera sauce was very good. The sauce was flavorful, and I liked the rice too. My husband ordered the ceviche Veracruz, and he liked it a lot. They are currently redoing their menu, so some items were not available, which was no big deal because their menu is already extensive. I’m excited to see what new items they offer i the future.
